The environment is good and also I love the coffee here.
But today was not a good experience because the waitress was a bit weird.
Firstly we asked where we can sit down? she told us that we can sit anywhere we want, then my friends put down their bags and sit down, but then a waitress asked us not to sit here and led us to another seats, tbh I can totally accept changing the seats but why you said we can sit anywhere we want, also there are so many empty spaces in here so it wasn’t the busy time.
Secondly, The girl with blunt bang has a very strange way of speaking, it was mean. I have been to many coffee shops in Padova and have met so many friendly people who working in these bars so I can sense that obviously she really isn't friendly towards us. And it's not just me who feels this way, all of my friends can also sense that her attitude is strange, and the way she looked at us is not friendly and polite either.
Tbh I’ve never had amazing experiences in this coffe house though the coffee is good. Girls working in here are always very beautiful but one or two they act always arrogant and weird.
If you don't like this job, why are you still working here? If your job makes you feel annoyed, I don't think it's our fault, is it?
I’m a student at UniPD, and this spot has quickly become my favorite place to study and the wifi is available here. It’s got such a viby atmosphere (lively and full of character), yet there’s a calmness that makes it easy to concentrate. The people who run it are always warm and welcoming, which makes it feel even more special. Their V60 is a must-try, perfectly brewed every time. And the cupcakes? Absolutely delicious—sweet little rewards for getting through study sessions. If you are a gen Z, you'd love the playlist as well ;). Foor food, I've tried their salad and it was just the one I was looking for since I've arrived in padova.
I usually don't leave many comments, but I think people, especially students, must be aware of what a disaster the place's workers are. Seeing that they cannot accept criticism and keep replying to low ratings saying "oh you don't even have any reviews," "oh but we were the only open place on that day" (not true), "but what you say isn't true because many others say the opposite" shows how fragile their ego is. You have to chill and learn how to accept criticism, guys. Otherwise you'll continue losing customers :) can't wait to see your passive-aggressive reply to this comment as well. Maybe I'll be blamed with being a fake account, who knows :)
Edit: "Why does your hate push to tell lies" - the issue is you cannot admit that many people experienced the rudeness of your staff, and you are trying to manipulate people using the "900 positive reviews." This is not how these things work, just because some people use positive reviews here, this doesn't change the fact that many of them, including me, experience negative things, especially from your staff.
"On Easter Sunday we were the only ones open in Piazza delle Erbe" lies, Starbucks was working, for example. Plus, their workers are a thousand times kinder than yours.
"Why does your hatred lead you to judge our responses as passive-aggressive?" I have better things to do than hating on rude workers. All I did was to share my experience so the others would be aware of it. You, on the other hand, should check what it means to be passive-aggressive. This is not the way to respond to customers, whether they leave a negative review or not.
"Since you are not a fake account, why don't you identify yourself and tell us in person the reason for your hatred" wow, do you want me to also give you my address? What do you want to do when you see me, perhaps give more passive-aggressive responses?:) you guys have seen me so many times that the only kind colleague of yours keeps greeting me when she sees me on the street. However, not only her kindness was enough to keep me as a regular customer. Also, why don't you ask the people who give you positive reviews to pay you a visit and tell you in person? Maybe they are also fake? Or is your ego so fragile that the only reviews you can't bear are the negative ones? Such losers.
Cute place with wifi, but super weak matcha and very slow/bad service. I had to wait for 30 minutes for a single drink because they didn’t submit my order and forgot about me, then didn’t come back to my table and ignored me the rest of my time here so I couldn’t even order something else.
They have working staff buy they take too long to take orders. The coffee is great though. But the order time is too long
Only “specialty” thing about the coffee is the pretence and the prices. It is not a bad coffee, but mediocre at best.
“Full Breakfast” was small unseasoned watery and overcooked egg, a stale bread (the heel, not even a proper piece), and the cheapest possible leaf salad.
No wonder they came to take payment before food even arrived (place was pretty empty so no excuse for the rush). The added salmon portion was decently sized (although expensive) which earned them an extra star for the food.
Tap water comes in a literal chaser. Not a small cup, but an actual short shot glass, otherwise 1 euro per normal-sized glass. Iv’e seen restaurants refuse free tap water in Italy before, but never in a Café.
Service is unfriendly bordering cynical, though it’s hard to blame the staff for not being on the top of their game when working for such a shady business..
Reply to owner’s reply: Thanks for showing a great example of the nastiness and unprofessional demeanour that I felt in the Café. Instead of being so quick to defend your shady scam of a business by attacking paying customers, I suggest you focus on improving it (or selling it to a professional).
I loved the coffee. The staff were so friendly, especially since I'm traveling and often need Wi-Fi, and they very kindly provided it. It seems like a great place to relax, and of course, they have plenty of Italian food, especially for brunch 🫶🏿. I asked for recommendations, and they were happy to help.
