Uptown Social is our go-to spot whether we're grabbing a coffee or hanging out for a family night! We had another great experience during our last visit—the food was delicious, and the ambience was spot on. The Chicken Maple Burger and Chicken Souvlaki were both super tasty, and the games they have in-store make it a really fun place to relax. It’s also an awesome spot if you like taking pictures! Special shoutout to Billy, who provided fantastic service throughout our visit. Highly recommended!

Cute dog friendly cafe that’s quiet enough to work from if necessary.

The food options were good, including an all day breakfast menu, however it did not include any sweet options like pancakes or waffles.

Açaí was labeled as a healthy food which was ironic!

The staff provided a blanket for my dog to sit on the sofa with which was nice- as some places don’t let dogs sit on the furniture.

The only concern I have is that there is a lot of construction going on which made it a bit difficult to find, and also that i was seated out of view and it was difficult to get a waiters attention , even after I called after them multiple times.

We had such a wonderful evening! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional. Dogs are truly welcome here, our dog was immediately provided with fresh water and a comfortable mat, which was a lovely touch.
The atmosphere is unique and creates a really special dining experience. We felt incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived and will definitely be back.

Lovely, pet-friendly place with a very nice and relaxed atmosphere. It’s set a bit away from the main street, so it feels calm and quiet. The staff is professional, friendly, and attentive. A great spot to enjoy some peaceful time.

Dog-friendly dinner delight in JLT – fantastic food and service!

We had such a wonderful dinner at Uptown Social in Uptown Tower, JLT with our dog, and it was perfect from start to finish. The place is genuinely pet-friendly indoors — our dog was comfortable and welcome the whole time, which made the evening so much more relaxing. 

We ordered a big spread: spaghetti Bolognese, risotto, Korean chicken, souvlaki, chicken Caesar salad, calamari, and an Oreo milkshake. Everything was fresh and flavorful— the calamari was crispy and tasty, the pasta and risotto hit the spot, and the Korean chicken had great flavor. The Oreo milkshake was a fun treat too!

To top it off, they surprised us with a complimentary blueberry cheesecake — and it was honestly one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had. Creamy, perfectly balanced, with that delicious blueberry topping. Absolute highlight!
The ambiance is cozy and welcoming for dinner, the staff was friendly and attentive. Our big thanks to our server for the night - Billy who made sure our whole experience felt warm and social. Whether you’re coming with family, friends, or your furry companion, this spot delivers.

Had a birthday dinner here, it was very cozy, we had board games while waiting for the food. Billy and Ron were amazing. Ron had a good grasp of the menu as we requested for one ingredient to be removed from the big breakfasts' baked beans. Not only that, he was able to articulate the food to where normal people like me understood what was in it. Truly an elevated service. Thanks Ron. The only thing I regret was not bringing my camera.

Love this place. We were living here for a month and usually came here for breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Always great food, wide menu including vegetarian options (it was important for us). Many interesting promotions that make you try new things and get unforgettable gastronomical experience

Oh I love this Cafe/Restaurant. Firstly, I love the space, the ambiance and the aesthetic. The restaurant is pet friendly and i love our fur friends are freely enjoying the place. Second, oh the food is sumptuous. We had the Pan Seared Salmon and Truffle Beef Burger which are truly delicious, the Cheesecake and Chocolate taste heavenly too. Thirdly, they have the wonderful staff. Thank you so much Billy for being so assistive, kind and giving us the best service. Thanks to Thyrone and AJ too. I love the calmness and I am just being chill here.

Uptown Social is such a beautiful spot! I loved the interior, and one of the biggest highlights for me is that they’re pet-friendly, which makes it even more special.

The food was good, and the service was excellent—everyone was warm, attentive, and welcoming.

My only feedback would be on the portion sizes. Considering the price, I felt the servings could be a bit more generous. Aside from that, it’s a lovely café with a great atmosphere, especially if you’re looking for a place to dine with your furry friend.

I LOVE this place! I had coffee here and when I saw the menu, I stayed for the 2 course business lunch. It's a bargain at 60AED and the food is great! I opted for dynamite shrimp followed by the chicken souvlaki with greek salad. The food was all fresh, hot and tasty. It was presented well, was a good size and you cannot beat the value for money. The staff here are so polite, kind, friendly and helpful. The dining area itself is lovely and comfortable. It's decorated well, feels relaxed and just has a nice vibe. Parking is a very short walk away and is free when you spend over 50AED - just get your receipt for the car park staff. The surrounding area is under redevelopment and it's very exciting - there is an amazing new community space next to the cafe and I can't wait to see what happens in this area. Definitely go and check this one out!

Lovely atmosphere, my favorite pet friendly restaurant. The service is great, Billy was very helpful and attentive. Romeo and Juliet enjoyed complementary water and pets, while the humans enjoyed the food. Highly recommend

Beautiful restaurant and cafe! Free parking for two hours and the atmosphere is amazing! They outdoor seating as well. Great music, too! Staff were extremely nice and attentive especially Rachel.
She has a beautiful smile and gave an outstanding customer service! They have great coffee and the food is excellent. Very fast service.

Highly recommended if you’re looking for a great place to relax and just pass the time as well as enjoy great coffee and food. If you want to work with your laptop, every table has sockets for charging so it is also very good for some work or studies while dining. Fair prices for the quality and ambiance you get as well as the outstanding service!

Serene spot on the ground floor, calm ambiance, good spot to work from and theres ample space. Food was good like every other breakfast spot around. Good thing they serve breakfast all day. Tried the Caprese Benedict and Florentine Eggs. Parking is free for 2 hours at the outdoor paid parking and AED 10 thereafter per hour.

Really nice and cozy place, perfect for getting some work done in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The food was good, and the service was great as well.
It’s also very pet-friendly, which I really appreciated. As soon as we arrived, they brought water and a mat for my dog, Coco. Billy took great care of us, was super friendly, and even played with Coco, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Excellent food and drinks, decor, ambience and nice staff at the Uptown Social. Their business lunch is a must - great and healthy choices for appetizers and main course. They also have great selections for sandwiches and drinks and their staff are all nice and friendly.

We genuinely love coming here for breakfast! The food is always absolutely delicious, and the fresh juices are exceptionally good. The whole team is amazing: attentive, warm, polite, and always welcoming. A huge thank you to them🩶

But the coffee is a disaster. No matter what we order, it’s consistently extremely bitter or tastes over-roasted, to the point that it’s impossible to drink. The only exception so far has been the V60, which is actually good

The decor is impeccable, with a stylish co-working area, a cozy library corner, and beautifully designed board games for a fun, laid-back vibe. The highlight? Their stunning pet-friendly terrace, shaded and super inviting. My pup was treated to water and snacks—such a thoughtful touch! We’ll definitely be back.

Uptown Social, located in the Uptown tower in JLT, is a warm and elegant cafe where we come as much for the atmosphere as for the coffee. With its nature-inspired decoration, its bright spaces and its welcoming terrace for animals, the place exudes a relaxed but refined atmosphere. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, especially Racheal, AJ and Tyrone, the chef is also very friendly and him as well as his kitchen staff cook excellent meals for all dietary requirements. The venue itself it’s very calm, the decor is great visually and the atmosphere as well as aesthetic of the physical environment is great, the parking is free for 2 hours and freely available. The restaurant manager was as extremely kind and the food had no issues at all. It serves an excellent specialty coffee from the DMCC Coffee Centre, as well as fresh and creative dishes such as chicken maple burger or truffle risotto. Open all day, it is the ideal address in Dubai to work, meet friends or simply enjoy a pleasant moment over a quality drink.

We went for dinner with our pet to celebrate his 10th birthday and it was such a great choice as we not only loved the food and the place, but the staff especially Billy were all friendly, attentive and made our celebration extra special.

Warm service and we really enjoyed the matcha waffle.

Frustratingly the menu is a QR code (non-secure technology that puts my personal data at risk) and run on the Qlub system. The menu design is not great as the text is so small you can barely read it. In addition, the “pay now” pop up is permanently on screen (is this a glitch or by design) and blocks the menu view. My big problem with Qlub is that if you use it to pay your bill, it automatically adds a service fee (no, not the waiter’s tip - this is in addition to that) for using the Qlub payment system and the restaurant does not advise you of this. If you do dine here, ask to pay via ordinary card machine to avoid extra charges on your bill)
