Came to try breakfast and the food was absolutely gorgeous😍 I got a full English breakfast and strawberry cheesecake was so fresh and delicious 😍 service was great super friendly and fast , will definitely be returning to try more options from the menu as lunch and dinner looks amazing too 🙊✨

I saw this place on an Instagram and thought it looked worth trying, so I decided to stop by. It turned out to be a really nice find.

The place is spacious, comfortable and nicely designed without trying too hard. I especially liked the big library wall and all the wood around the restaurant, which gives it a warm and relaxed feeling. Service was also very good and everyone was friendly and attentive.

The coffee was probably the highlight for me. Really well made and honestly better than I expected. I also ordered the burger, which I really enjoyed. It reminded me of the burgers we used to get back in the day—a proper juicy patty with cheese, pickles, lettuce and tomato, served with good fries. Nothing complicated and thankfully not another smashed burger like you find almost everywhere in Dubai these days.

Overall, a very nice experience. Good food, genuinely good coffee, friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere. Definitely a place I would come back to.

Came for brunch, delicious food & friendly and fast service!

We had the English breakfast and the Turkish eggs. Both were good, then we shared their Syrniki which we had never had before but enjoyed.

Will definitely come back to work here as they have a beautiful area for that and their coffee is yummy.

Visited Woodish Cafe & Restaurant in JVC and had a really lovely experience. The space is warm, cozy, and thoughtfully designed — perfect if you’re looking for a calm place to relax and unwind.

We started with breakfast, and the pancakes were a highlight — soft, fluffy, and topped with fresh berries and banana.

Their wood-fired pizza stood out with a rich, smoky flavor. The veg pizza was fresh and delicious, with a perfectly baked crust.

For sides, the Chicken Caesar Salad (Woodish style) was fresh and well-balanced, and the loaded fries were a great indulgent option.

For mains, the Woodish Grilled Chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the Chicken & Mushroom Pasta was creamy and comforting.

The drinks were refreshing — especially the Mango Maniac Smoothie and Raspberry Mojito.

One of the most unique touches was their Iraqi tea, which felt more like an experience than just a drink. Their coffee was also well-prepared with beautiful latte art.

A special mention to their book exchange corner — a quiet, cozy space where you can bring a book and take another. Such a thoughtful concept.

Overall, a great spot in JVC to enjoy good food, relax, and spend quality time. Would definitely visit again. 👍

Woodish Restaurant is a beautiful café in JVC and definitely worth visiting. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding from start to finish.

The real highlight, though, is the coffee. I rarely drink coffee at cafés because I usually brew my own at home, so my expectations are quite high. I had a V60 brewed with double-fermented watermelon coffee, and it completely exceeded my expectations. I had never been introduced to double-fermented coffee before, and it was an incredible experience. I was so impressed that I'm now inspired to start brewing this style of coffee at home.

A huge congratulations to the entire team, especially the barista, whose passion and knowledge made the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates exceptional coffee and great hospitality. Bravo!

The pizza was really good! We also tried the salad, chicken, and burger, and everything was great, from the ingredients to the taste. The service was excellent too, especially Majid, who was super helpful, welcoming, and polite. Definitely recommend it! Plus, the prices are very reasonable.

Had a lovely experience at Woodish. The coffee and food were good, and we really enjoyed the warm and relaxing ambience. I also liked the book and work area — a nice space to sit, read, or get some work done over coffee.

The food at Woodish feeds your soul; feels like it’s made with love and you will leave with a happy heart and full belly! We have tried almost all of their menu and every dish has been phenomenal, no complains at all! Very well seasoned, perfect temperature and textures! Highly recommend their Truffle Mushroom Pizza, Diavola Pizza, Caesar salad, Bruschetta, Guacamole bowl, English breakfast, Alfredo Pasta, Rasberry Mojito, Strawberry Cheesecake, Spanish Latte, Tiramisu and Latte. The fries are amazing too!

Seating: Very comfortable, has cushions and you can book tables before.
Ambience: Very comfortable and cosy.
Music: Not too loud, you can hear each other talk.
Wheelchair patients: You can access easily, no high steps.
Parking: Plenty of paid public parking around the restaurant.
Noise level: Tables aren’t placed too close, you can’t hear other tables talking.
1 person: 75-100 dhms.
Service: King, Majeed and all the kitchen personnel are so sweet and always go above and beyond to provide the best service to their customers.

Loved the ambience and plenty of parking around! Majeed was such a pleasant soul and the manager got my craving for an English breakfast ready & possible although we visited at night! Food was amazing; highly recommend! Plenty of seating and their raspberry mojito was beyond refreshing, especially on a hot day! Definitely will visit again to try more dishes!

We absolutely loved this place! The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, the food and drinks were delicious, and the cheesecake was honestly unreal. The pizza was also one of the best we’ve ever had! The atmosphere is calm, cozy, and very pleasant. Such a gem for anyone living in JVC. And the sweetest touch they even gave us flowers for International Women’s Day! 🌸❤️❤️❤️

Had such a lovely experience at this beautiful new spot in JVC. The restaurant is spacious with stunning interiors, and during the day the natural light makes the whole place feel warm and inviting. Honestly, it’s the kind of place where you can happily spend hours without needing to step outside JVC.

We tried the Caesar Salad, Woodfire Shakshoka, Avocado Toast, and the English Breakfast — every dish looked spectacular and delivered equally on freshness and taste.

A special mention to Maricel, Carl the barista, and Chef Madhi with his kitchen team for making every guest feel genuinely welcome. Their hospitality truly elevates the experience.

Another thing worth appreciating — the toilets were squeaky clean, and there’s even a cozy bookshelf corner if you feel like sipping coffee while reading a book.

They also currently have a Buy 1 Get 1 Free pizza promotion on Wednesdays, and all ongoing offers are updated regularly on their Instagram handle.

Definitely a place worth visiting for great food, lovely ambiance, and warm service.

Discovered Woodish in our neighbourhood recently so popped to give it a try. They do all day breakfast so we decided on the Full English, was so good! They treated us to a gorgeous slice of strawberry cheesecake, will definetly be back 🤩

I recently visited woodish and was blown away.

Everything I tried was absolutely delicious—you can tell they really care about the quality of their ingredients.

But what really stands out is the atmosphere.

The entire staff is so kind and they all have genuine smiles on their faces, which makes the whole experience feel so welcoming.

If you want a cosy vibe place plus a high quality meal, do visit this place.
Food 10/10, the English breakfast is highly recommended. My wife ordered the crispy chicken burger and we got the chicken and mushroom pasta which is fantastic and I recommend that as well. Will definitely visit again . And the hosts are awesome in their service and their ethics. Especially Majid and King. Thank you very much.

First time to visit Woodish, newly opened and during its soft launch. The food was very very good quality, very good menu option.

We opted for bruschetta starter for one person that was easily for 2 people, also a creamy chicken soup which was a very healthy size portion, for mains was the mixed beef pizza which was plenty for 4 people and we also shared the ribeye steak with fries that was shared between 2.

Amazing atmosphere, very well thought through restaurant / cafe.

The breakfast menu is served all day which is amazing not just limited to certain hours.

This will do very well, especially given the community it’s located in and will definitely be a hit with those living locally.

Cannot fault Woodish. It is a lovely neighborhood cafe and restaurant, the quality of the food is excellent & healthy the coffee is some of the best we have had in Dubai and the staff are warm and friendly. It’s also got a good atmosphere for working for a few hours too.

Looking forward to coming back on our next visit to Dubai!

The best part is that the restaurant is just below my apartment—so convenient! With good food and a great atmosphere right downstairs, there’s really no need to go far. Definitely a great spot to have nearby, and I’ll be coming back again.

Unfortunately, on the day I visited it wasn’t possible to leave a review, but I really wanted to come back and write one.
I’ve been living in Dubai for over 20 years, and trust me it’s rare to find a place where the quality of ingredients, the way the food is prepared, and the overall taste truly match expectations.
The coffee was excellent, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly.
I’m genuinely impressed and I sincerely hope that the quality, presentation, service, and taste remain at the same high level.

We had dinner here with family tonight and loved every minute of it. The Caesar salad is amazing, the matcha latte is hands down the best I’ve had (and I’m very picky about matcha), and the atmosphere is such a vibe. The staff’s energy was great, and Manager Kings was incredibly welcoming and helpful.

I come here almost every day to work. The Wi-Fi is super fast, the food is delicious, and the service is incredibly quick. Plus, the staff is so friendly. Simply the perfect place to get things done!

Woww I'm so glad this place opened in JVC! The atmosphere is warm and thoughtfully designed. The seating is genuinely comfortable for working (something that's surprisingly hard to find), and the food and service were both excellent. This was my second visit to Woodish, and once again the experience was exceptional. I first came for breakfast, and returning for dinner only confirmed the consistency and quality of this place.

Every dish we tried was outstanding. The mozzarella sticks were, without exaggeration, the best I’ve ever had — perfectly crisp on the outside and rich and flavorful on the inside (I only regret not taking a photo). I also ordered the Margherita pizza and the salmon with mashed potatoes, both of which were beautifully prepared, light, and full of flavor.

From the ambiance to the attentive service, everything felt thoughtfully curated. Woodish has quickly become a place I look forward to returning to. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates quality food in a lovely setting.

Such a cozy place and the staff are amazing. The coffee is great.
Currently they open at 8am and the other cafes around open at 7. I have to use the other places if I need to leave before 8 but would prefer here if they opened earlier. 🙏

The place is so amazing, from the second you step through the door you feel so welcomed and comfortable. All the way to the presentation of the food and then of course the taste, everything was so good and so smooth. We had the shakshuka and the crispy chicken scallop but we had a really hard time deciding because everything on the menu looked absolutely amazing. We cannot wait to come again and enjoy the other items. The staff were also incredibly friendly, we were served by Kings and Mericel but all the other staff working had a great atmosphere and kind expressions as well. Also the place looks stunning and we cannot wait for the expansion to the outdoors.

Woodish is such a lovely spot in JVC. The place is beautifully decorated and has a really nice vibe. The pizza was honestly so good, fresh, full of flavour and perfectly done.

The chef was amazing and even brought us a complimentary banoffee cake, which was absolutely incredible. Such a thoughtful touch.There was beautiful live music from an incredible guitarist and they even gave out roses as it was Valentine’s Day. Such a wonderful touch.
