Very good place for working, especially upstairs. Great food. Unfortunately you would expect working fast wifi with the setup but that's not the case. That is pretty much the only downside, the rest is great.

This cafe is such a gem! 💎 They have such a great terrace and their food/drink selection gives you so much FOMO.

They have 20 different types of tea. Best selection I’ve seen in a while! 🍵

The eggs were cooked to perfection and our shredded meat arepas were tasted like heaven. 🤩

They also have a great place to working inside. There is a minimum consumption after 2 hours which I think is great.

So far my favorite cafe in Bogota! 😍

The food and coffee is pretty good, and they have a great outdoor patio where you can chill with your dog. The service could be better, but they have a server call button on every table so you don't have to wait forever for someone to come help you (they generally don't take the initiative to check).

To be honest, I really want to like this place and it has the potential to be a great co-working space. Except... the Wi-Fi signal is very poor/nonexistent. You can get a signal on the second floor (where the router is), but you can't have your dog there. The staff and manger are aware of this problem but don't care and don't seem to have any interest in investing a few bucks in a repeater to fix it.

Sorry, but I have to take my business across the street where they have Wi-Fi and I can work. Lmk if you fix the internet issue 🛜

Really nice cafe. Great for working or socializing. They have great coffee, tea, pastries and plates. The ambiance is the best part.

I used to be a regular at this coffee shop and often brought my friends here. But recently, I had a really disappointing experience. I was working alone on my laptop and had already ordered twice — first a coffee, then later a cake. A few hours in, the manager came over and asked me to order something else or leave.

I was genuinely shocked — I had been a loyal customer and had brought many friends here in the past. Even so, I was treated like I was overstaying my welcome, despite the café being almost empty that day.

As someone who's traveled the world and worked from cafés in many countries, I’ve rarely encountered this kind of treatment. If you're a digital nomad like me, I wouldn’t recommend this place — it’s just not a welcoming environment.

Prob one of best places. Just sad they dont have good internet it dissapear randomly imposible to work.

Basically work quality is this: spent 2 hours trying to connect to the wifi and finally decided to use my data

Terrible Service and Discriminatory Treatment of Foreigners - February 3, 2025

My mother, who is a senior citizen, and I visited Varietale and had a disappointing experience. Since we are foreigners (Mexican), our internet connection was unstable, and the Wi-Fi wouldn't load the digital menu. When we asked for a physical menu, the waitress responded rudely and abruptly, saying they didn't have any.

However, a few minutes later, we saw them give a physical menu to another customer, claiming it was because he was a senior citizen. When we pointed out that my mother is also a senior citizen, they tried to justify themselves without a valid reason and offered no solution.

The discriminatory treatment and lack of professionalism of the staff make this place unreliable, especially for tourists. There are many better options in the city where they truly value all customers equally. We will not be returning.

I love this place, although they don't give you much Wi-Fi time, so I wouldn't recommend it for coworking. The food is delicious.

Excellent! Everything is delicious: the coffee, the food, the bakery. Very good service. Excellent facilities, plus the co-working space. Highly recommended!
