We had a really nice time there drinking specialty coffee. The people working there are all nice and friendly, they explained the difference between different methods of filtration of coffee. Wide choice of specialty coffee filtration methods! We will come back for sure!

A great place to telework. There’s many different areas with different noise levels and seating arrangements. A good amount of outlets. Fast wifi. I got a cinnamon roll which was warm and crispy.

Being from Portland, OR we are your typical coffeesnobs with a penchant for being critical of coffee. Thankfully, Varietale required no such critique. It's excellent and the kind of place you hoped existed in Bogotá. The coffee is 4.5/5, pasties 4/5, ambience and wifi is 5/5. Overall five stars seems correct.

I spent the week working out of Cafe Varietale with a few co-workers. The staff was incredibly helpful, attentive and cheerful. Some of the best memories I have from Bogota were spent in this cafe. Muchas gracias for the mems!

Good coffee and nice place but wifi not working so I have removed one star because of this ... When you have good working wifi, I will go to your cafe everyday!

Great Coffee Awesome wifi

This place has excellent coffee. Each customer can choose from different types of coffee, and the staff will have the opportunity to explain the characteristics and properties of each variety, as well as information about the farms, climate, and altitude where it's grown. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quiet place to spend time with friends, read, or work on your laptop.

They need to improve the Wi-Fi service; it's a place designed for work and meetings, so they should provide better network service. It was impossible to load a page in less than 5 minutes.

The place has nice architecture, a good concept, a good selection of coffee, Wi-Fi, and soft electronic music at a moderate volume, but none of the employees seem to care about the customer when they arrive (this has happened to me on three separate visits): you have to order at the register, but there's no sign indicating this, and neither the cashiers nor the servers even look at you. Despite the poor service, I recommend the place.

One of the best places to grab a coffee and hang out with friends. The place is lovely, bright, and has a garden to enjoy on sunny days (with a designated smoking area). It's frequented mainly by university students. They offer various filtered coffees and pastries (the coffee brownie is highly recommended). You can also buy coffee by the pound, freshly ground for you. Bonus: bike parking and Wi-Fi.

Very pleasant. The atmosphere is very welcoming. The patio tables, lit by small bulbs, make it a perfect spot for conversations, formal meetings, and informal gatherings. There are also tables inside. The service is excellent, although you have to wait in line to pay for your order and then go to your table. The Wi-Fi connection needs improvement.

It's a great place for coffee. The atmosphere is pleasant, there's free Wi-Fi, the desserts are good, and they have different types of coffee makers and filter coffees. They advise you on what to order, and they also sell whole bean coffee from small producers. They offer different flavors and roasts, in both large and small bags. The flavor is unbeatable; I like it even more than Juan Valdez coffee.
