Incredible afternoon tea experience, exceeded expectations. Stunning presentation, delicious food, great service.

This is one of my favorite afternoon teas. It’s incredibly cute and absolutely soothing, creating a delightful experience. The food is delicious with generous portions, and my personal favorite is the French toast topped with Nutella. It’s a perfect choice for celebrating a friend’s birthday, as it’s sure to be well-received. I’ve tried many afternoon teas in Dubai, but this one ranks among my top favorites for its combination of taste, presentation, and overall charm.

We had an excellent experience. The service was truly exceptional - staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We would like to commend Ms. Angelica, Ms. Lin and Ms. Rose. The food was equally impressive, with every item beautifully presented. Highly recommended and we look forward to visiting again.

Meaning “jewel” in French, that is precisely what we enjoyed at afternoon tea. Each serving was exquisite- a piece of edible art. Our server, Annet was so joyful and helpful. In addition to coffee and tea, homemade lemonade is offered and it is well-balanced and delicious.
Tea at Bijou is perfect for a celebration and I will be returning soon.

I had an unforgettable afternoon tea experience at Bijou Patisserie inside Sofitel The Obelisk. The Le Goûter Vault is a true masterpiece – elegant, creative, and beautifully presented. Each pastry was like a work of art, with delicate flavors and stunning presentation, especially the cannelés which were my favorite.

The ambience is calm and refined, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a luxury tea experience. The staff were warm, professional, and very attentive – special thanks to Anett for her kindness and outstanding service that truly made the experience even more memorable.

If you’re looking for one of the best afternoon teas in Dubai, this is definitely the place. Sofitel has truly redefined the concept with a Parisian touch of elegance – I can’t wait to come back again.

I had the best time during this afternoon tea! The location is very beautiful and clean, there are few tables indoor. The staff is so kind and nice I almost felt at home. The afternoon tea is organized in a particular way, and served in a unique vault: inside there are both savory and sweet pastries, with amazing taste and very high quality ingredients. The afternoon tea also allows you to take unlimited drinks for 1.5h. The price is 50€/person, which is normal considering the amount of food and the unlimited drinks. 100% recommended!

One of the BEST afternoon tea experiences I had.

I reserved a table online and mentioned that it’s a birthday celebration. The taste and presentation of the food items are seriously a 10/10, every bite was enjoyable and there’s a good balance between savory and sweet items. You also get unlimited tea/coffee/lemonade for 1.5 hours.

Annet was lovely, friendly and attentive in her service.

Overall we LOVED the experience - highly recommended and worth the price of AED 195 per person.

Points of improvement is to add more tea variety in the menu.

The setup looks fancy and it’s served in a 3-layer jewelry box. The food was ok. I prefer the savory than the sweets, and adding more savory would be better.

The staff was very lovely and helpful. Just the props like the key box and jewelry box should be cleaned and maintained properly.

This place has won many awards as the best afternoon tea place in Dubai and with good reason. It offers luxury experience worthy of a five-star Michelin feeling. The unlocking of the Le Goûter the Sofitel golden vault and a combination of patisserie making even Tiffany envious. The Sofitel Obelix is a mix of modern French art de vivre and ancient Egyptian heritage making the setting interesting and different from other 5 star hotels.
I give thanks to the attentive personnel serving us. My tips is to order in advance, have no hurry when having the tea. We spent a good two hours enjoying the party!

One of the afternoon teas recommended by my friend who lives in Dubai — I knew I had to visit, so I made an online reservation three days in advance.

On the day, Ganga took care of us with such warm and attentive service.

Her hospitality made us feel so relaxed and comfortable throughout our time there, and I truly appreciate her kindness.

This is my very first time to have " Afternoon Tea" in Dubai.
I've heard and seen this a lot but I am clueless about how it really works or being served once you are there 🤷🏻‍♀️.

All I know about having a tea party was during young age I used to play it with my dolls and girlfriends 😅 (*clinking teacups ☕)

I got to experience this afternoon tea at "Bijou Patisserie" in Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk which is located on the 51st floor and everything makes me speechless.
The view itself is amazing 😍 seeing the Dubai City Skyline 🤩 , and if ever you want to have some "ME TIME" "PAMPER TIME" or just to hang with your favorite person ..... you definitely have to try this! They have a selection of freshly prepared french delicacies that you can partner with your favorite tea 🥰 and the experience will speak itself.

Bijou Patisserie has truly become my go-to spot. I always get my bakery from here, and every single thing they offer is simply perfection. From the delicate pastries to the finest details in their presentation, it’s clear how much love and passion goes into everything.

The atmosphere is just as beautiful as the flavors, elegant décor, cozy vibes, and the kind of place that makes you want to stay longer just to soak in the experience. Every visit feels special, and that’s why I keep coming back. 💫

A small café in the lobby of the Sofitel Hotel, its a nice place to have a tea/ coffee in the afternoon. I felt the waitress was not very welcoming and made out that all the tables were reserved when that wasn't the case.
We ordered a date coffee and a smoothie which was average in taste. The most important thing is that everyone should be made to feel welcome as soon as they step in, that was lacking which also made me leave in 20 mins.

Lovely restaurant situation within the hotel lobby of Sofitel Obelisk. I was dining solo when I attended. The staff were so friendly and took the time to talk to me whilst I was waiting for my food. I ordered a latte and there was an extra special touch as they added my name to the cute decoration on the froth. The croque madam tasted amazing and my egg was cooked exactly to my request. For dessert I had the chocolate exotica which tasted divine. Thank you for a lovely evening.

I stayed Sofitel obelisk many times and used Bijou several occasions. And today they surprised me with their hospitality,I was super happy to choose here to welcome my special guest.
Of course their famous afternoon tea is perfect always. Beautifully crafted and very delicious. They created so Kawaii matcha latte with Japanese text on it. Me and my Japanese friend were so excited to see this!

The place is quiet and lovely.. the staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly… we ordered the afternoon tea .. you get pastries and cakes in a box and drink for one person unlimited for one hour and half ..

This is our second time at Bijou and it is by far the best afternoon tea I have tried in Dubai, the food is succulent, the presentation is so original and unique in a jewelry box that opens with a secret key they hand you to open ! The vibe and atmosphere are awesome and relaxing! The staff is hands on and the chef (Romain CASTET) was so kind to come and check on us during our stay, very attentive to our needs, so humble and welcoming! We highly recommend this place and had a very good time! A big 5/5 would have given more if possible 😍😍😍😍

A very special experience at Bijou. We came for an afternoon tea and were overwhelmed with the flair of this place. The staff is wonderful, the food excellent. The hotel itself is the perfect place to stay.

This cafe has a real cool concept of French afternoon tea. They serve the pastries in a Jewellery box. The sweet & savory pastries were absolutely delicious. Unlimited tea & coffee. Customer service was on point.

Amazing afternoon tea with a very tasty bites coming into a beautiful golden pink box. The chef Romain is very professional and attentive to his customers and does not hesitate to come great them whenever he is available at the venu. I would say that when you try bijou your leave the place delighted.

They offer a wide variety of delicious sweets and pastries. We tried the Parisian flan and the mozzarella croissant — both were absolutely delightful.

We went there for afternoon tea and to celebrate our friends’ birthday. The experience was nice, with every bite we had to guess what it is and enjoy the taste. We took the set for a 2 people and was enough for us ( we were 4).

A good place to have a coffee or break on a day. The pastries are fresh and handmade by a french chef. My favourite thing was the morrocan tea pot, good taste and beautiful presentation.

I have only positive feelings about this place. The cappuccino is smooth and nice, and the cake is fresh and tasty. The service was prompt and polite, and the decor was charming and elegant. I loved this place and I can’t wait to visit again.

Classical Patisserie, although I didn't really like their cappuccino, but crosaint was scrumptious. Perfect and superlative experience.

Great Patisserie & Bakery items. The only downside is once we ordered eggs benedict & avocado and toast. It took more than 30 minutes to get to us

My experience at Bijou Patisserie was nothing short of disappointing. As a top 20% contributor on Google for restaurants and someone who traveled the world dining at the finest afternoon teas, I can confidently say that this establishment ranks among the worst in terms of service and pastry quality. Tea selection is mediocre.

Let's start with the only average aspect of this place, the tea selection. They do offer a variety of teas, which should be the cornerstone of any afternoon tea experience. However, even this consolation is marred by the appalling servers and customer service. You have 1.5 hours to savor your tea, but good luck getting more than one cup of tea or, if you're exceptionally fortunate, two cups if the server decides to grace your table with their presence. At one point there was not a single server on the floor, and we can see them through the kitchen door in the back.

Our server was Chloe, or at least that's who we were initially introduced to. After we were seated and informed about our 1.5 hour timeframe, she inexplicably disappeared for a solid 30 minutes without even bothering to take our tea order. We watched her scurry around, seemingly overwhelmed, each time the kitchen door swung open, leaving us to speculate that they might be understaffed. But the worst part came when, out of the blue, Chloe changed out of her uniform and hastily exited the café without a word of explanation or a proper handover to another server. It was clear that her sole concern was ending her shift on time, leaving us to fend for ourselves. Her hurried departure even resulted in her clumsily dropping one of our pastries while attempting to present our afternoon tea box. She then picked up the pastry and said “no damage” and placed it back on the tray.

In summary, the tea selection, while mediocre, is the lone average feature at Bijou Patisserie. However, the frustrating service, the struggle to get a decent cup of tea within the allotted 1.5 hours, and the subpar quality of the pastries make this place utterly unsatisfactory. I'd strongly advise tea enthusiasts to steer clear of this establishment and seek out a more worthwhile afternoon tea experience elsewhere in Dubai.

The food was delicious. You should definitely go for the afternoon tea vault. Everything was percfect. Only real shame we couldn’t enjoy wonderful classic music because of the very disturbing customer who was watching TikToks on a full sound. I asked stuff to solve this, didn’t really work, the person turned on sound back in 5mins. Unfortunately couldn’t enjoy this really exceptional experience fully 😓

This is a Must Try place, the cakes of Chef Romain are out of this world. Try the Waffle Mille Feuille and the Banana Choco Tarte, and remember me 🤗

Had a lovely time celebrating my Mum’s Birthday recently, we had afternoon tea and the food was outstanding! Blown away by the creativity and selection….. We were really happy with the service and staff too, especially Angelica / Ganga / Oumaima.
