A great spot with a cozy atmosphere and a wide variety of cocktails and drinks. The menu offers plenty of options, and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely a nice place to relax and enjoy a drink

Nice place overall. The vibe is good and a bit loud, but you can still talk normally. Just make sure you reserve before you go because it gets busy. Prices are okay not cheap, not too expensive. Cocktails are kinda weak tbh, so better go already tipsy and just grab a drink or two for the vibe. Food and appetizers were just mid.

I highly recommend the food there 👌 maybe ask in advance if there is a minimum charge (someone told me it's 500 egp per person, but I'm not sure because the average order costs around or more than 500 egp anyway)

Complete lack of care and attention to detail on orders made.

Both times I’ve been here, they have gotten the order wrong.

We ordered beef sliders and a salmon sandwich, they brought out a turkey sandwich. When we brought up the issue, it took them 25 minutes to bring out the correct dish.

Keep in mind they had 10 staff members just waiting around.

Great food and nice staff but they really don’t have attention to detail on what is ordered.

Nice vibe, delicious snacks, cold draft Heineken. What else do you need for a good evening?

Food and drinks are excellent. We started with an orange and ginger infused water after the walk from the metro (cut through the park if you’re walking from the metro). Lots of breakfast options to choose from. Everything was cooked well and flavorful. They have a stocked bar and can make frozen beverages with or without alcohol. The restaurant has air conditioning, friendly staff and comfortable seating inside and outside.

The only drawback is smoking is allowed inside and there is no real separation from the smoking and non-smoking section. Other than that, I’ll definitely be back!

A cozy spot where you can get drinks and bites. We had chicken satay, chicken lollipops and dips that were served with dough balls. All of them were delicious.

One of the best draft beer place indeed. It’s really hard to find a place serve draft beer in Egypt so I couldn’t be more glad that this place is right next to my home lol
The restaurant has table outdoor and indoor both. Very modern interior which is my favorite part.
Food is quite decent in general. My fav is chicken wanton, sweet potatoes fries, spicy french fries, yogurt, and sandwiches. They have so many different type of food and all dishes are good.
This place is always busy so I highly recommend you should make a reservation before you go.

Really love this quiet place, I went during Iftar time in Ramadan after work to wind fown and give myself a treat. The service was so good even though the waiter went to pray and break fast, there was a slight mixup, instead of caprese tartine they brought a salad, but it was quickly corrected and the nice waiter even came later to apologize, even tho it was no big deal. It shows their high standards and training. The food is excellent and very high quality as well. If you want a cold beverage and something to nibble or a delicious meal, one of the best and cleanest upscale gems in Maadi.

very pleasant spot for hanging out in Maadi. They do serve alcohol. beer is around 50 poinds. food menu looked nice. Thursdays and Fridays it gets very busy and probably you should try to reserve. they don't have entrance policy as long as you are decent they will let you in. service is excellent

The entrance of the venue is impressive, featuring a long corridor with ample seating. I visited with a friend for a pre-meeting catch-up and appreciated the diverse seating choices, including bar tables. The service was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. I will certainly revisit.

This place is a change from most other places. Widely distributed tables of low chairs, normal tables with cushioned seating, and high chairs on the bar. Menu is also different.
The place is affluent with usually classy people. Some still stare but not the usual.
The menu is expensive with small portions for food but you have to try it. Grilled octopus!
Now they have screens for the world cup as well. I don't know why they ended up using a windows based computer showing video broadcast of the match?! Why?!
The staff are usually attentive and want to help but they are not experienced. They are dull at times and I always try to make some fun and make them feel at ease!! They are a lot, yet something is always missing.
Ambience and decoration is unique, and for the matches table 22 has the best seating.

It is a nice place and quiet comparing to the surrounding restaurants. They have a relatively good menu but they also have a bar which is very rare in Maadi. They do not serve breakfast after 1:00 pm. They need to change the layout of the menu to become more usable.

Nice Cosy Place with plenty of food and drink varieties

Nice place in spite having a narrow entrance it is wide inside with comfortable chairs. Reserved sign is placed on most of the tables. They serve alcohol so most of the menu are appetizers and nibbles. The bathroom was very clean. I liked this place

The place is very pleasant, with a comfortable atmosphere that is perfect for relaxing and enjoying a good meal. The service was very good, with a friendly and attentive staff. The food also deserves special mention.
Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend this place.

Decent spot to grab a drink in Maadi (alcoholic or not) but the food was very underwhelming and in some cases, inedible.

One of my favorite places in Egypt!! Love their Camembert SO much. It comes with tiny bread bites that are so freshly baked. This time we tried the nachos for the first time and loved it!! I would love to try their breakfast as well, heard that it’s amazing! Place is in Maadi and is almost always packed.

I just love this place,inviting chill terrace and comfortable interior lounge with Bar. A lot of variety on the menu and breakfast from 9 am.

I used to visit this place frequently, but I was very disappointed today. I was informed of a 500 minimum charge per person, which was never mentioned before. As a returning customer, the lack of transparency regarding this new policy is frustrating.

Great food and strong cocktails. Great for Egypt. The mack and cheese with thyme was honestly one of the best ive had. I had chicken lollilops with honey bbq. No idea what it was when i ordered it but it was great. Well seasoned and delicious. The goat cheese salad with quinoa and apples is very delicious and also huge. I loved the frozen mango cocktail i got. We also ordered fried olives. Lovely. Would come
again.

I truly LOVE everything about this place. It has become one of the most admired destinations and interesting places to go to in Maadi. Both locals and foreigners like it a lot. Thank you so much to everyone who helped making my experience a memorable one.

Great bar, super friendly and helpful staff, good food.

One of my absolute favorite spots in Maadi. Their cocktail menu is extensive and always really delicious. Their dips are incredible, I highly recommend the labna with tomato, the Camembert with honey, and the garlic dip. The Thai salad is unbelievably delicious, as well as the chicken pops. This time I tried the open face sandwich of mozzarella and avocado and pesto but it wasn’t as good as anything else I’ve had here. Regardless, I love franks and will always be a big fan. Only only thing I don’t like is the smoking inside so beware. I definitely recommending finding a seat outside.

Frank and Co is a beautiful restaurant and bar. The food is incredible and the staff are very accommodating. The outside area is pretty with twinkling fairy lights across a verandah. The inside is classy with industrial modern light fittings. Its a great place to drink and be social with friends and family.

My first time to try this restaurant and this won’t be my last. The place is nice to chill or just grab something to eat “healthy”. Good also if you’re alone just to kill time, sit and have something to drink. The food is good and the staffs are friendly. Not to mention the service was fast. A gem in Degla Maadi.

Last night was my first visit to Frank and Co, and it definitely won’t be my last! This spot instantly became my favorite in Maadi for a quick bite and a drink. We ordered the Chicken lollipops with BBQ sauce—it was surprisingly delicious and will be my go-to order every time. The Chicken Tenders, however, didn’t impress me as much, so I’d probably skip those next time. The sweet potatoes were perfectly crispy and oil-free, just how I like them! Can’t wait to come back!

I had not experienced racism in quite a while before I decided to go to Frank and co. The very fact the staff ignored two European women misbehaving with me over completely empty bar stools as I was sent to the bar after knowing seats were reserved. I just wanted to have a quick drink but one of those women looked me from up to down and kept her bag on the stool saying someone is sitting there. I was eventually given a seat somewhere else but i couldn’t find anyone in those seats the woman “reserved” by putting her purse for the entire time I was there. I very politely told my server and got nothing in return but a smile. I felt really bad that I just left. How the hospitality towards foreigners is only limited to white looking tourists and not the other kind is baffling to me. I hate the fact that I left and didn’t confront the two women who clearly didn’t want me to sit next to them just cause… and I did tell the server and barkeep about the same. It’s very sad because I really like the drinks in the establishment. My advice to them would be to not be so indifferent towards your non white customers. This is highly inappropriate and you don’t know how it effects people. Thanks you

Easily one of the best places in Maadi for a bite and some drinks. works with a group or just a one-on-one.

For drinks, the Bloody Mary is to die for, but I haven't tried anything yet that wasn't exquisite. The chicken tenders serve as a delicious dish while you share the warm bread bites with the variety of sauces and dips (salmon, cheese, pink, etc.).

Finally the service in this place, indoor or outdoor, is quick and easy and everyone is smiling and helpful.

Unchanged month after month.

Frank and Co has never disappointed me or anyone I've brought there. Everything is delicious (though I wish some of the portion sizes were bigger.) The staff is always polite, quick, and helpful. The decorations are beautiful and well chosen.

The staff is super friendly, very cheery and very attentive. The place is chill but can get noisy on the weekends. I’ve only tried their fries (weren’t nice, a bit soggy and not fully cooked) and the nibbles (the bread balls; tasted too doughy). The cocktails are always nice and can be slightly adjusted if you ask nicely.

This place is really nice and calm. You can go with friends or even with a date. The manager is really nice, some staff could be a little off but the manager is good.

Nice cocktails, good vibe. Did not like the smoking inside as well as in the seating area outside. It was difficult to find somewhere where you were not smelling smoke.
Took quite a long time for drinks to arrive and even longer to pay the bill after requesting it.
It was very busy so this is the reason.

We go here often as I love the mango margaritas. The menu is great although it would be nice to see new things added once in awhile. It can be a bit smoky at times as it seems smoking is allowed in side as well as out on the terrace. Really wish smoking would only be allowed outside, more people are becoming non smokers so the smoking does push us away at times .

Really, it's not like it's a secret or anything but this place is a gem. Best cocktails for the money (just good all around, they make them properly--try the margarita) and the small plates are consistently tasty and unexpected. I think they could update the inside to be as hip as the outdoor seating, but that's pretty minor. Good friendly service, and not often you find a place in this town that does drinks AND food together and knocks it out of the park on both.

I've been to Frank and Co multiple times after exercising nearby, the staff is always incredibly friendly and ready to help. The vibes are pretty chill, with an overall great atmosphere. The beer isn't necessarily the cheapest but overall I'd 💯% recommend checking out this nice establishment 👍

Great bar in the heart of maadi. The following mornings for breakfast with the kids, service is a bit slow and the smell of stagnant cigarettes is a bit over powering.

As a bar, it hits the nail with relatively inexpensive drinks and the service is great. Food quality is awesome. Keep up the good work, and if you haven't visited, give it a try. It attracts a nice crowd 😉
