Great coffee however when I dropped in to have a work meeting, a staff member interrupted a very important call and completely did not care. As an attorney, for a staff member to rudely start banging my shoulder to discuss a charger and coming over to tell me I didn’t grab a cup of coffee from the counter was so ridiculous. Touching me was outrageous in itself. I ordered my coffee and left it at the pick up station purposely. To be so rude about it and simply lack respect for me obviously talking to a laptop screen was so distasteful. Not only did my client bring up the encounter, ANY cafe offering laptop usage should have some etiquette. Super embarrassing!

I love Hamlet so much. The coffee and atmosphere is great. Free wifi available and a relaxed place to get some work done. The staff is so friendly and I look forward to my mornings there :)

Best latte ever! Excellent customer service (friendly and prompt), very clean, quiet (not a lot of customers loudly talking on their phones, not staff randomly chatting among themselves), very nice music for laid back atmosphere (yet not intrusive), good wifi. Tried their bacon, potato, egg, & cheese taco for the first time - delicious. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Lovely coffee shop. On both my visits, I had the cortado, which was made perfectly. The people working here are amazing. The peanut butter cookie was unbelievable.

Always clean, good smell, coffee is perfect, matcha latte is awesome - unsweetened as I love. There is no space to seat after 10am usually. So it would be better to make a timing for using laptop there.

Very cozy, kind service and great for working. I had the turmeric latte which I can highly recommend as well as the vegan 🌱 banana bread.

I got the seasonal apple cider chai and it is amazing. sat in the backyard and worked on my laptop for for 45 mins, it was perfect ! Calm and the wifi reached :)

This is the best quality coffee in the Flatbush/PLG area. Not bad price either. I’ve ordered Cortado, Americano, latte, and Matcha (good quality). Way better atmosphere than Brooklyn Perk. There’s an ample amount of seating and a clean bathroom. laptop friendly work vibes.

I do wish the staff was a bit more inviting. One time I ordered a coffee 15 minutes before closing and I wasn’t received that well. But the coffee was good and I got over it 😆.

Excellent coffee and outstanding baked goods. Multi-roaster with some unique beans. Friendly staff. It’s very cold sitting by the door during the winter. Space is full during peak hours with laptop workers (I am guilty of this). Simple but pleasant backyard.

Now that I’m able to go back and spend more time here I wanted to update my review. The food and coffee are excellent but there are lots of small touches that make hamlet a really special place.

Menstrual products in the bathroom. I wish this were the standard at public restrooms the same way toilet paper is, so it’s really considerate that hamlet includes tampons for customers who menstruate.

Music choice. The playlists here are always eclectic but not obtrusive if you want to have headphones in. But I’ll often find myself taking out my headphones to enjoy their selection of nostalgic 2000s songs or whatever they’ve got going.

Ample plugs. I totally understand cafes that don’t want to have plugs so as to discourage prolonged laptop use, but it is really nice to have the option when you need it. And they are thoughtfully placed so as to be within easy reach and no one is fighting for the one available plug.

And the kind staff. They’ve only got busier as of late, which I can imagine could be tough to juggle but they’re always very friendly and welcoming!

While it's overpriced, I love coming here. The outside area in the back has amazing vibes and is great for working or relaxing. It's often too crowded inside to work. Very friendly staff and love supporting a woman owned business!

Good coffee in a minimalist setting. There were a lot of people working there and I appreciated how quiet it was. There’s also a back yard that’s open to customers.

Fantastic coffee and vibes. Very popular working location. Nice tables in the back with outlets nearby. Front has cozy couch area. Excellent choice for a stop.

Love this place. Everyone working here are warm and welcoming. They serve the most delicious pastries with nice selection of coffees and teas. Highly recommended.

Very nice place to read a book or work on your laptop as you grab your coffee. Cool vibe, absolutely loved it!

The coffee was delicious, cappuccino perfect, and there were lots of seating options for chatting, setting down your laptop, or just enjoying the calm atmosphere. I'll be back!
