L'Aroma Gourmet Coffee

The ambience is so nice and it has that classic Zamalek aesthetic that makes it a great spot to just sit and people watch or hang out for a bit. It is definitely a cute space if you are just looking for a place to exist in a pretty setting.

But if we are talking strictly about the menu it was a bit of a mixed bag. The cold drinks were actually really good and super refreshing which was exactly what I needed. However the brew was a bit of a letdown because it just was not that flavorful or punchy. I also tried the white sauce pasta and it was honestly pretty mid. It lacked that rich flavor you really want from a pasta dish and felt a bit basic for the price. If you are going there just to vibe and grab an iced latte you will probably have a great time but maybe skip the food and the hot coffee if you are looking for something with a lot of depth. Solid 6/10 for the atmosphere alone.

We went to see this cute cafe, the waiters were really kind and thoughtful. Even when i couldn't add salt to my pasta they saw it and handed another one to me. Thanks to her, my visit was really delightful. Also we drank black tea also mango splash all were good and it was quiet there too. We really liked it, definitely would recommend. The pasta was delicious too.

My new favorite place lately, has a perfect and cozy atmosphere suitable for studying and group hangouts.

We went there and ordered two fresh juices. The waiter was kind, but we only got two in bottles. We said one of them we are not taking, because we ordered the fresh ones. In the end they still wanted to have 130 EGP (the menu says 90 and they said 40 EGP are taxes…)

The place is nice and cozzy, their prices are perfect for the portions and their coffee is so good. However it'd have been good if it didn't allow smoking inside cause for someone that hates that smell it's terrible.

Amazing cafe. Tried their croissants (Rumy, basterma, almond) and chocolate patty and coffee (Italian cappuccino and iced Spanish latte)
The quality and taste were perfect for the price, it’s definitely a very quiet place to work or to chill with friends and family. Loved the service and music, the prices were really affordable. All was around 400 egp for 4 people.

The coffee wasn't bad at all. I mean it tastes freshly brewed and the waiter was so friendly.
But there was an annoying fly standing on the food and what made me extra frustrated that the staff didn't even try to kill it.
Also it would be nice If they add some paintings to the cafe.. seriously the walls are empty as if it a normal room with waiters.
Over all the it wasn't a bad experience. Those mistakes can be easily undone.

The place itself is gorgeous and has a really nice vibe, honestly loved the atmosphere. But the food? Not it. The muffin was totally stale and dry, and the drink was honestly below average

Open during Ramadan. Came here around 9:30AM for breakfast. Latte is pretty good. No hot food but pre made sandwich and bakeries are available and is pretty good.

This is a place that ticks all the boxes on my list if i want a go to comfort zone place , it holds the best and the saddest the calmest and the busiest days in my life , good memories and old and new memories… the vibe is the chillest , they have good music playing in the background softly and always not disturbing, the place is best for work ans study and meeting your loved ones , it is calm and not noisy and they have good wifi connection, indoor smoking but the place is well ventilated or the ac helps alot ,the have good drinks and good food they are just not always available, the staff is great they changed them than where i first knew the place , not all of them but some . They changed alot in the menu by time like they replaced the fries with chips , guys please bring the fries back , one advise if you are paying with visa tell them so you can pay earlier because sometimes late at night they close the option of payment with cards , the place is great i hope it only gets better . This is considered home to me ❤️

Well rounded place - coffee is good, staff is friendly and desserts are great. internet speed is ok for some light work or short study sessions. Would've given 5 stars if it wasn't for that godawful archaic playlist loudly on repeat forever (consider Spotify perhaps?) and the secondhand smoke is here to stay from poor ventilation (unless you sit by the open door)

Maadi club branch is a hoax ... very poor quality products ...
Ordered a chicken toast...look at how little the filling is ...with the rest of the sandwich empty bread

Cozy, Comfy, quietly impressive and lovely place to go.

That is where you can enjoy the taste and smell of coffee for an affordable price $$. They have a variety of desserts. I didn't have enough time to taste most of them, but the ones I tried were really delicious.
The cafe is cozy the coffee is really tasty, and the staff are friendly. Great place to hang out with a friend or work on a laptop.
Service is professional and fast.

Great place to work, good wifi even with lots of other people also working there.
The reason I'm in giving this place 4 stars is because the chicken pesto sandwich I ordered didn't have pesto that I could even see. It was quite dry and tasteless.
I'd recommend just getting a drink here...but maybe other menu items are better.

Nice mood for work or for a coffee date. I would give my experience 5 stars if not for 2 things: 1- The menu is way too big. 2- The coffee is mediocre at best, which isn't what you want when you put "Gourmet Coffee" in the name of your shop.

Cozy place with free wifi, i like it

I had a chocolate cake and a Chai Latte; both tasted just fine. The place is clean and the atmosphere is great. Just make sure that the receipt contains the exact order you made. I spotted a mistake on the receipt; the drink I had was mistaken for another drink that costs more. I notified the waiter and he consulted with the cashier. The waiter then told me that they seem to have a problem with the registration machine.

Also their cakes taste good but seriously unfresh.
Overall I love l'aroma but this branch, cozy and obscure as it is, really needs a renovation, a smoke free policy and a freshness target

This place was one of the best before.because they did not alllow smoking all over the places and there was two areas one for smookers and other for non smookers..... but now it becomes so bad place because of smooking.... the worst place ever for whom has
Breathing problems for sinus patients

Place allowing smoking with poor airconditioner or a machine that gets the smoke out. Other than this it might be nice to do some work or study.
Nice dessert and coffee. But I don't find it interesting to stay for along time and I don't know how it's going to be in the summer actually.

It’s very cozy and the drinks are enough great there .. the staff are nice and helpful .. very close to many embassies in zamalek district , therefore if you want to stay there for a while and enjoy a drink or a small snack if your schedule permits , then I totally recommend this cafe bar for everyone but not for children because it’s enough small and the smoke might disturb . Another tip ; Vodafone network doesn’t work inside quite good though ..

The staff were very helpful. We needed a charger, pen and paper and they were there for us. The food was really bad.

Everytime I go in there I get nostalgic as hell with all the great timeless songs they play all the time. They make some of the best coffee in town and decent pastas. The only downside is that the place does not have mobile network at all. They do have an okay Wi-Fi 🤷🏽‍♀️

Loved it, the drinks were excellent and the staff is very polite and friendly.. the only downside for most people is the poor cellphone coverage for me it was perfect for a quiet time.

NO VENTILATION. Walk in here and you will need to wash your hair and clothes because the cigarette smoke is everywhere. Good place to get food to go but not recommended to sit here if you care for your lungs.

The place is cozy, music is good, staff are not bad, location is in a good area in Zamalek,
food is not very nice, but after all, it's a place where you have a drink or two.
The drinks are nice comparing to the egyptian standards but compared to Europe, it's not so good. (nothing is in Egypt)
If you want to spend a good time with some friends listening to some music and chitchatting, then it's quite okay.

A dead place. There is no parking. It's congested inside. Laidback staff. Run of the mill menu. The sandwiches and most of the other things on display appeared to be from the day before. Don't want to go there again.

Prices are reasonable considering it's zamalek.
Parking is very difficult.

This is small coffee shop in Zamalek. Coffees taste good, but the service is slow. There are not many choices of food. So I havent tried the pastries.

Lovely cosy place ..... definitely recommend it , I don't give 5 stars anywhere but this place does , ..... If you are going with large number of friends please go elsewhere , keep this place as quite and calming as it is

This place is perfect if you're looking to go study or work. They do however have a 50£ minimum after 6PM.
