Ouma Bakery and All Day Cafe

I enjoy visiting Ouma, when I found out the owners were opening a new location close to home I couldn’t wait to support this new endeavor. This cafe is such a welcoming site to the ever growing community. The cafe atmosphere is inviting, the employees are friendly and will help you choose the best pastry or meal to fit your palate .you can tell the owners took time to bring forth a space for patrons to enjoy their morning delights while working on their laptops or chatting amongst friends.
I will continue to visit Ouma and support this women owned, inclusive business.

the WFH laptop jockeys have swiftly turned ouma into their personal office (no fault of the very kind staff/service).

would be nice if there were a no laptop area for folks who wanna drop in, have a coffee and lunch, read for 20 minutes and go.

My cappuccino was really good. The space just needs more seating for people working on their laptops.

Keith and Joey’s comments below are correct…the quality of the baked goods has significantly gone down since their old baker quit due to unfair working conditions. I think it’s weird that someone would respond to that comment saying the bakery’s “ethos and commitment to quality hasn’t changed” like, okay, but your baker that was making the best items is not there anymore. And I think a lot of us were visiting for that. I have since tried the scones and focaccia and they have sadly been inedible (the old dill feta scone was sooo good) The review about the coffee is also very fair—the drip coffee they are brewing is consistently bad. I’ve been here many many times since they opened and was super excited to have them in the neighborhood. So It really is a bummer the work environment led to them losing their best talent. I believe people and management can change and improve for the better, so here’s to hoping that’s the case here.
