I’m sitting now at Remi Flowers Coffee on 42nd and 2nd, and honestly, this place hits the sweet spot. Easy to walk in, full of plants and color — you just feel good being here. There’s something about the mix of energy and calm: people working on their laptops, chatting, taking meetings, but it still stays peaceful.

The coffee’s excellent — rich, well-made, and they serve it in these nice “to stay” cups that make the whole experience feel more intentional. No one hurries you to finish or leave, which I really appreciate.

It can get a bit busy at times, so if you’re tight on schedule, maybe peek first. I came around 11:30 and it was perfect — no line, just great vibes. Definitely one of my favorite Midtown spots to take a breather, work, or just enjoy a proper cup of coffee.

great WFH spot, if you can find a table. gets packed pretty quick. love the plant decor and I got the lavender matcha latte and it was tasty! wifi is a bit spotty too since a lot of ppl in there are using it.

Great place to grab a coffee and work. The only drawback is the wifi is really slow when there are a decent amount of people in here.

You can work/study here but yeh wifi connection is not good and stable.

The lavender latte was good. Although, not sweet at all. The caramel pecan bar was very good. Atmosphere is nice and staff is welcoming. Very aesthetically pleasing cafe. It’s also a flower and plant shop.

Beautiful flower shop and coffee shop. Fits a lot of people, good place to bring your laptop and work since their wifi is free and there’s a bathroom. Got a hot chai latte and it was solid. Lots of dessert/pastry/food items for sale.

Came on a Friday morning and felt like it was a bit chilly so I kept my coat on.

My fav cafe in nyc ❤️coffee, wifi, smells like flowers, low music, conversational, delish pastries, long hours. Incredible. Even has plugs.

Two stories. Plenty of seating - packed but has good turnaround. wifi is not super fast but it’s functional.

The lighting is really natural. Gets a bit cold in the winter! Bring layers

I love this coffee shop because it also acts as a flower shop. For the drinks, got a matcha and a tiramisu latte. Both were so delicious! I normally am very selective of where to get matcha but this place was not bad. It does get super cramped and packed so i wouldn’t recommend doing laptop work here.

A Hidden Gem of a Café

The coffee here is absolutely amazing rich, well balanced, and full of flavor. I tried the Rose Latte, and it was an incredible experience: creamy, aromatic, and with a delicate floral touch that makes it truly unique. Plus, the presentation of every drink is just beautiful. I completely fell in love with the details.

The baristas are super friendly, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. And the best part? It’s laptop friendly, making it a perfect spot to work or just unwind with a great cup of coffee. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

Absolutely stunning inside. The drinks come out looking like they should be in a magazine. Small seating upstairs, too. Mix of people working remotely and tourists/locals. Not loud. The baristas were patient and kind. The Rose latte was lovely.

Loved the space, good to work (has wifi), read, or just chat. Lavander latte was pretty, but next time I’d order something with more flavor. The pastry was good. Finding an open table is a bet

Amazing coffee shop - Rose latte was great! Ambience is 10/10 for studying/working!

internet was way too slow though - only issue!

mira18.10.2026

Lavender latte very yummy, very crowded on an early Friday afternoon. The wifi was terrible, but it seemed like there was a good mix of folks on their laptops and folks chatting with each other.
Canele could have been crunchier on the outside.

My go-to cafe spot. Close to grand central station, but remote enough that it's missed by commuters. It's a cafe and a flower shop in 1. The place is decorated with many plants and gorgeous flower displays. The coffee is good too. I usually get the matcha berry hot latte, find a seat upstairs (sometimes hard to come by), open my laptop and starting writing, journaling or finishing errands. It's a great place for studying, reading, relaxing, or inspiring your creative mind. Wi-fi and bathroom available.

Ticha U18.10.2026

Love the creativity that this place inspires! I got beet latte which has a ting of turmeric as well. Not the best place for work, more like a casual chat. No wifi, no restroom, quite limited space.

danielle18.10.2026

cute neighborhood café with beautiful plants! good for working if you can find a spot incl. wifi, outlets, bathroom

Mira L18.10.2026

This is a cute and cozy café. It just gets very busy, especially during lunchtime, so it can be hard to get a table... the wifi upstairs doesn't really work, so if you need internet, it's better to stay downstairs. I really enjoyed my Rose Latte. If you'd want a quieter spot run by the same people, they do have a sister café very close-by, which wasn't as full when I went (but no laptops allowed there).

Very nice aesthetic ✨ full of plants!

Cons:
- gets very crowded even though there is plenty on seating (was here 12-1pm)
- the second floor has a bit of seating but i would not reccomend bringing a stay here cup, the stairs are very narrow! My balance could never (i got it in a paper cup and all good though)
-the honey latte i ordered had TOO MUCH honey, it became tooo sweet. and i’m the type that puts 2-3 packets of sugar in a regular latte. If you like super sweet tho, get this i guess.
- lots of people bring computers, so it is not a quick turnover of seating frok what i could tell.
- a little loud motors of the plants/flower fridge/echo

Pros:
- super nice space
- if you need to use a computer, it is nice!
- even though there is noise, you can still chat
- i got a ham croissant, it was good.
- i wanted to take all the plants with me
- there is wifi and ppl seemed to b ok with leaving their laptops behind? <— weird to me but i guess

A beautiful cafe with lots of natural lighting, laptop friendly and free wifi, great drinks. Perfect spot for any occasion!

Han-Anh Vu18.10.2026

Skip on the matcha, but the interior is really cute and good for working

Suki C18.10.2026

Very busy place. Came on a Saturday morning and had to wait quite a while to get a seat. In terms of drinks, the coffee and rose matcha latte were quite delicious. Also tried an “orange donut”, which was more like a cake - very moist and nice orange flavour. It’s technically not a laptop friendly cafe, as there are signs saying so, but several people had laptops open anyways. Good place to hang out but it’s too crowded and noisy for working.

CJ Nivinski18.10.2026

The drinks were beautifully presented, the flavor was good, and I loved hanging out with all the plants! The wifi didn't really work enough to load Google sheets (at least where I was sitting) and I did notice that the cafe itself definitely needed lots of sprucing up (ceiling paint and plaster falling down in parts, windows super dirty, lots of dirty empty pots on shelves, etc). I will probably be back if I'm in the neighborhood, but it comes up short as a destination for me.

BeBack18.10.2026

NOT for working: I decided to get some work done here while having some coffee, but the place is extremely small; so are the tables—shaky and small to fit even my laptop and a notebook. And the wifi does not work at all.

Abby Aldridge18.10.2026

Really sweet space. Got an iced mocha which was delicious. Have wifi and lots of tables for working.

Tyler Pincus18.10.2026

Really nice space with lots of plants. They have wifi and lots of options for dietary restrictions. It is really packed in there though, and if you’re on the top floor, it’s not the best.

Tanvi Ralhan18.10.2026

Extremely rude staff, the menu does not clearly depict whether you are getting .. coffee or tea or what .. and the staff is not willing to help, they don’t care. If you need to spend on coffee and not get an ounce of basic customer you deserve, this is the place you should head to!

Ps the wifi does not work

Symeon Shaw-Wakeman18.10.2026

The wifi can become unusable if it’s pretty busy, which it often is. The coffee is strong and tasty. The vibes are incredible.

Sourabh Chakraborty18.10.2026

Beautiful cafe with lots of flowers and plants, great for studying and working, with a second floor mezzanine overlooking the rest of the cafe

Asha Pereira18.10.2026

No wifi at a cafe? Don’t come here to use your laptop

Denise18.10.2026

Literally could not work no wifi :(

Valentina Stanislavskaia18.10.2026

This place is super cute with the plants and is great for working with a ton of seating with electrical outlets! I also really appreciate their wide drinks menu, which is awesome for people like me with sensitive stomachs. I usually get the butterfly pea latte or the beet latte. It's really hard to find coffee shops that have a selection of non-caffeine drinks!

Agnese Giaccone18.10.2026

A beautiful café inside a flower shop, offering a variety of pastries for breakfast (mostly European-inspired) and good-quality hot and cold drinks, including coffee. Prices are moderate. The atmosphere is romantic and beautiful, with the scent of flowers and a bright space, making it ideal for remote working.
