Starbucks did a decent ice matcha latte, get it without sugar as it’s quite sweet already.
Plenty of seating inside with aircon and free wifi.
The coffee was terrible and the customer service was even worse. When I asked where the toilet was as I was working in the cafe they barely looked up at me and shouted that they didn't have one which I'm pretty sure is illegal? Karma for me for coming to starbucks! Don't come here!
The best iced green tea I have ever had plus you can get on the wifi as well. Very happy staff work here.
The two things this place has: consistency and wifi. At least you know what you're going to get (even if it is not consistently amazing). No toilets, but that's not uncommon.
Your standard Starbucks with average coffee in a hurry or a warm place to sit and have a coffee and use their free wifi.
Good shop for working or have a small meeting. It was spacious! It closes to Sydney Startups.
Good Services however the free wifi is only an hour long. Anyways, Good place.
wifi was difficult to connect to, and no bathrooms. At least they had coffee and outlets.
Great to pop in amd get work done wjth free wifi
Good wifi, decent coffee, outdoor seating.
No toilets around. wifi is slower than 2g
wifi is often not working, which is a pain
Typical Starbucks, cells coffee, only issue Poor wifi
It closes before working time.
Welcoming and good free wifi
Delicious coffee! Wi-Fi connection
Never ever order if this guy is in he store working as he doesn’t value or respect the regular customer. I aleays order by the name M . And I never encountered a staff like him before . Kindly train him first on how to speak . I asked how long is it going to take . It will take long to make your order . And then showed attitude and right after I left he was literally laugh telling the other customer . All I wanted to know was how many minutes or hours it will take to make the order and yeah I stood there for 10 mins before just to place an order and there 3 people in the store none of them bothered to come and take the order until I asked if I can place the order .
You will find a lot of orders in your system under the name M. Kindly teach him to tell a rough time estimate rather than saying and then showing me attitude as if I asked him some out of Syllabus question . He even had the audacity to laugh after giving literally no service . I asked for Managers phone number so that I can lodge an official complaint against him and is rudeness to that he also threatened to call cops and this show how poor service he is giving as if this reaches the manager he will potentially loose the job. He is not someone who should work in such customer service environment as he does not know how to behave at all . And this is coming from someone who has been in this customer service business for half a decade now
For the three days I was staying in Sydney, this location was my primary source of caffeine. Yes, I know that Australia has amazing espresso drinks, but when there's a location right across the street from your hotel and they accept Starbucks cards from your home country, it's hard to pass it up.
While the location didn't amaze, it was consistently busy and the variety of drinks I purchased for myself and my party were all fine. Free wifi but it didn't work all the time.
Starbucks in Australia accepts Starbucks Cards from the US, including the in-app scannable code. You'll be debited in AUD but Starbucks does the conversion. And you still get your stars!
The staff are always friendly. It’s always busy being in the city but always had quick service. Hard to find somewhere comfortable to sit as typical Starbucks go people sit for agesss using the free wifi! Would be better if they had charging stations.
Too strange and unusual!!! This Starbucks really designed & suitable for works for hours & to use laptop; however, they don’t have restrooms close or inside!!!! You can’t leave your belongs & go to the train station toilets cuz it’s unsafe!!!
Nifty little place at the street corner with wifi access and speedy service just like any Starbucks should be.
The seats need some refurbishment since it's obvious that they have seen their service. The wooden parts may still be ok but the leatherette seats are cracked and worn out.
Toilet is only available only at the nearby train station.
The guy working on the till sucks. Not helpful at all, answers my question like a know-it-all, and rolls his eyes when I asked about how to connect to the wifi. My question previous to that was just about the drinks, and the difference in taste since I don't normally go there. Either he hasn't been trained properly, or he needs to be fired.
Not sure why the negative reviews for this location of Starbucks, it to me is much like any other Starbucks. I've never had an issue with my orders, they have been quickly fulfilled and correct each time. Staff are average friendliness, in that they neither stand out as being super-cordial nor rude or unfriendly. What does stand out is that moreso than most Starbucks in the CBD, this one has ample seating for people to bring a laptop, book of phone and relax for a bit with their drink. It's something I do quite often. The 30 minutes included wifi is fast and reliable. I return more than once a week, and will continue to do so.
My go to coffee place when in these parts of Sydney CBD. Staff are friendly and very efficient in their service. The sofas are good place to lounge about, the high chairs not so. wifi is efficient here, if you get it to work.
I went today and I ordered something and the guy working there looked at me as if im crazy and then looked at his friend and laughed.. i thought that was really disrespectful, my friend also complained at his behaviour!! I hated it and felt like im weird even tho i shouldnt feel this way! I was really polite and didnt show that i was a bit angry but i really didnt appreciate his behaviour he seemed like a child to me who clearly doesnt know how to talk to a customer!
Only saving grace is some of the friendly staff. Seating area is dark and unless you get a lounge, is uncomfortable. Got the wifi code but would not connect to the net despite it connecting to wifi
