The food was absolutely delicious, but what truly made our experience exceptional was the service. It was honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Every member of the staff was friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. A special thanks to Thiyanga, who was outstanding—very kind, professional, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Thank you for the amazing hospitality. We will definitely be back!

Had such a great experience here! The food was delicious, and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Special thanks to Ate April and Johnsen for being so kind and attentive. 🥰

I also really appreciate Ate April and Joshnsen for kindly replacing my coffee because it was too strong for me. She was so understanding and genuinely sweet about it. Such amazing service! Definitely loved the food and the hospitality. Will surely come back! ❤️

Maitha Qassim08.11.2026

Had their exclusive cherry chocolate french toast which was delicious!! It was a big portion so easy to share between 3-4 people. Coffee was good and barista was very friendly, we had a good coffee chat.
A side note to make sure the door is closed because if you’re sat near it, and it’s open, it can get pretty toasty.
Will be back!

After hearing so much about this place, we finally decided to give it a try—and it definitely lived up to the hype in many ways.

The bakery is excellent, with generous portions and a unique fusion of South Asian and Mediterranean flavors. There are plenty of interesting items on the menu, and I’d love to come back to explore more of the bakery selection.

The coffee was good in my opinion, although my wife wasn’t a big fan. As for dessert, it was a bit too rich for our taste, so it wasn’t our favorite part of the experience.

Overall, the service was friendly, the atmosphere was beautiful and different, and the concept really stands out. A great spot that’s worth visiting, especially if you’re a fan of fresh baked goods and creative fusion flavors.

Okkkk. I’ve tasted their chocolate and noticed their beautiful packaging long before they even opened their first international location. I’ve been following their Instagram page for a while, and my husband has been a fan of their coffee, so stepping into the space today felt extra exciting.

And honestly… this place is breaking the Dubai coffee scene.
From the moment you walk in, you can tell they take their craft seriously. The entire team is genuinely knowledgeable about what they’re doing and serving. They’re friendly, attentive, and have such cool personalities, it sets the tone right away.

The coffee? Easily one of the best.
From sourcing to roasting, every detail is intentional. And if you’re not a coffee person, their hot chocolate is marvelous!

The food surprised me in the best way.
Their shakshouka comes with a twist that works beautifully. The light tikka eggs Benedict was delicious, and the egg sando… I’m already planning my next visit.

Considering it’s still their soft opening, everything already feels so well-executed. I can’t wait to see this community grow and be recognized by real fans, not just the usual PR rounds or influencer hype.

Massive shoutout to Shane, Winnie, April, Christopher, Bishesh, Min, Nisan, and the rest of the team. Their hospitality is truly top-notch.

What really sets this place apart is the brand experience.
The packaging, the interior textures, the tone of the space, the gift-wrapping section, the chocolate presentation, the corner filled with cold brews, the thoughtful workspace area.. every detail feels considered. Their curated coffee bean selection is impressive, and learning that they make their hazelnut syrup from scratch says everything about their commitment. The appreciation they show for farmers and sourcing only adds to their authenticity.

This place is genuinely exciting. I’m officially a fan ✨ and I’ll keep spreading the word.

Subko has been on our wishlist since the day it opened its doors, we never made it to Subko Mumbai, so having it here in Dubai feels like a win. We went during the public holiday weekend and reached by 9 AM, so it was pleasantly quiet and everything ☺️ from food to drinks, arrived right on time.

We enjoyed :
✨ The Tikka Benedict — makhni‑style richness with desi sauce, fried onions, and pulled chicken tikka. Honestly, what more could anyone ask for.
✨ The Bombay Toast — their take on egg Kejriwal with egg and green chutney. We found it a bit dry, so a little extra chutney on the side would make it perfect.
✨ Butter Chicken Puff — generous, messy, and exactly how a puff should be.
✨ Mango French Toast — approved by the resident mango addict; the filling inside was simply 🤌🏻
✨ Baccha‑ccino (Hot) — our baccha loved it, and a happy baccha means happy us.
✨ Coconut Nolen Gur White (Iced) — after tasting nolen gur in Kolkata, we had to try this. Sweet, nostalgic, and delicious.
✨ The Vietnamese Drip — the brewing ritual is so cool, and the final cup was spot‑on.
✨ SIF Kaapi (Hot) — nothing beats a strong kaapi after a hearty breakfast.

Espresso tonic is quite good! Had their espresso as well was ok. Apparently every one loves the chocolate i haven’t tried it yet, the pastry on the other hand was good. Make sure to sit upstairs the place is very nicely designed. Been there twice and going again.

Is it too soon to say that Subko might be one of the best coffee shops I’ve visited this year?

Subko has always stood for specialty coffee, craft baking, fine cacao, and thoughtful design. Now, all of that comes together beautifully in their permanent space at Alserkal Avenue.

Their coffee, cacao, and bakes are impressive as always but this time, it’s the space that really stays with you.

Whether you’re here for a quick cup, a quiet moment, deep conversations, or to simply notice the small details, this place makes room for all of it. Every corner feels intentional. Nothing is loud, nothing is rushed. The design gently reveals itself, paying tribute to the subcontinent through material, form, and typography.

Cafes don’t need to feel repetitive anymore. Subko proves that every corner can feel different and still belong together.

No photo or caption can fully explain it. You need to be here, sit down, and let the space do the talking. Just make sure you give yourself enough time — this is not a place you’ll want to leave quickly.

Subko has already made its mark in India. Seeing it here, it feels less like a café and more like the beginning of something bigger.

reat vibe and creative fusion menu!
Really enjoyed the atmosphere here — warm, inviting, and with a cool energy that makes you want to stay longer. What stood out most was the menu: they’ve cleverly mashed up different food cultures into something unique and well-executed. It’s not just random fusion — the combinations actually work and feel thoughtful.
Would happily come back. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something different from the usual!

Darian Sandmartin08.11.2026

absolutely loved their breakfast selection (especially the avocado toast) and coffee. the toast is huge, comes with microgreens which I appreciate. the coffee tastes amazing.

overall I am happy to have found this place. the only one in al serkal where I actually enjoy breakfast.

another hidden gem is their gift sets with chocolates!

note to the staff: the service was 3/5. not attentive, not only we had to wave but ultimately come to the counter multiple times to catch someone's attention, considering our table was the only one taken on the whole floor! please be more engaged 🙏🏻

Samrat Sharma08.11.2026

Subko has been on my list for a long time, so I was excited to finally visit their new outlet at Alserkal Avenue. The space is absolutely massive, beautifully designed, and definitely lives up to the hype.

We tried their sandwiches and coffee, both of which were excellent. The quality of the products really stands out. They also have an impressive range of croissants. We couldn’t try the pizzas as they are served later in the day, but that’s a good reason to come back again.

The staff were warm, welcoming, and professional, making the overall experience even better.

As an Indian, I genuinely felt proud to see an Indian brand create such an outstanding space in Dubai while maintaining world class quality. Wishing the team continued success. Highly recommended.

I had been seeing Subko Specialty Coffee Roasters and Bakehouse on social media from the time they opened and finally I visited them yesterday and they didn’t disappoint. The venue is super cool with amazing varieties of coffee and freshly baked goodies. The vibes, the coffee, the food and the service is top notch, can’t wait to visit again!

Katleho08.11.2026

Attentive and pleasant service from RJ! He had good recommendations and clear explanations on the available options and any questions I had. Food was absolutely tasty!

ryan untalan08.11.2026

Best coffee and desserts. Exceptional service from RJ.

Kapil Dixit08.11.2026

Subko is not just a place to eat—it’s a super-funky experience sitting at the intersection of pop culture, art, ingredients, and some very creatively reimagined coffee, bakery, and food menus. Come with friends or family, and budget an extra 30–60 minutes beyond a normal dine-in just to soak in the wall art, origin stories, and menu exploration.

My visit last evening was completely unplanned. We were doing a quick round of Alserkal and walked into this massive new space (it mainly serves food, so “restaurant” fits—but it could just as easily pass for a gallery or pop-up installation). Spread over two floors, it offers a wide range of coffees, chocolates, bakery options, and meals. We spent a little over an hour and still didn’t manage to check out their “brew your own brew” space.

We’d had a late lunch, so couldn’t order much. Tried the ready-to-drink Jaggo oat-milk coffee, a dairy-free cookie, and a chicken haleem croissant. All three tasted as good as they looked. I know I’ll be back at least a couple more times, once for a proper coffee/bakery immersion and another for a full lunch or dinner. Will share a more detailed food review then, but based on what we tasted yesterday, I’m pretty sure there will only be a great story to post back.

Fantastic coffee and sourdough bread/baked goods. The chocolate selection is incredibly rich and delicious.

Terrratales08.11.2026

If you are ever near Al Serkal avenue, do visit this coffee shop, their concept seemed quite unique. You get to choose your coffee from a variety of origins and flavors. We even tried their single serve pizza & it was amazing! A must try coffee experience

Joyce08.11.2026

Food is amazing! I love how a lot of their menu has a special touch. Absolutely loved the Yemeni honey cappuccino 😍 Thank you Mor for your kindness and wonderful service 🙏🏼

Manisha Mahadev Mulchandani08.11.2026

Had a nice time at Subko. The vibe was cozy and chill, perfect for catching up and relaxing. We tried the Sip on Rocks, iced chocolate, pizza slice, Margherita, and the hot honey thecha — and honestly, everything was quite good.

The drinks were refreshing, the pizza was fresh and comforting, and the hot honey thecha had a really fun spicy-sweet kick to it. Overall, a cute spot with good food, good coffee, and a nice atmosphere.

thom cruz08.11.2026

Such a unique café! The pastries were on point! and the drinks was great too. Friendly staff and a nice chill atmosphere. Definitely coming back!🤙🏻

Roberto CR08.11.2026

They have many coffee varieties from different origins and processes. Their Cold Brew batch was enjoyable.

They have an open kitchen, so all their menu is made in house. You will notice they have a display of most, if not all, their pastries.

Whenever I see a Basque Cheesecake on the menu or display, it's a must for me to try and judge it. And, well, I can assure that this has been my favorite San Sebastian Cheesecake I have tried so far in Dubai! One of the key elements that made it stand out for me, is the actual burnt crust! It's called Burnt Cheesecake for a reason and you can tell. But highly, highly recommended!

The Butter Chicken Pastry and Yemeni Honey Pastry were also tasty.

Another feature that makes Subko a top place is the playlist. The music is really chill, sometimes quite mysterious, but absolutely brings a unique aura to the whole place.

Mubarak08.11.2026

The place is beautiful and excellent in terms of cleanliness and they have a lot of hot and cold drinks and baked goods. This is in terms of my experience and enjoyment.

Nishant Rajpara08.11.2026

Coffee + Chocolates + Pizza—all under one roof. Can you imagine? That's exactly what makes Subko so unique. It's hard to define this place with just one label.

If you're a true food lover and enjoy trying unique flavors, this place is a must-visit. The ambience, food, cleanliness, are all on point.

I tried the Nolen Gur Flat White and the Hot Honey Thecha Pizza Slice. I never thought pizza and honey could work so well together, but the sweet, spicy, and savory flavors were perfectly balanced. It was surprisingly delicious and definitely worth trying. What surprised me even more was their impressive range of handcrafted chocolates.

Whether you're planning a casual meeting, catching up with friends, or simply looking to enjoy something different, Subko is a place you'll want to visit again.

prerana arora08.11.2026

I don’t have words to describe my experience. Loved the matcha, such flaky croissant and ambience was so quiet and peaceful. I sat and worked there for almost 3 hours and I didn’t even notice. Also, they have amazing chocolates. Even the chocolatier is a very sweet person.
I would definitely go and sit there more often.

Omair Almansoori08.11.2026

One of the best breakfast spots in Dubai is this place. The coffee is fantastic, and the barista is incredibly skilled, especially with espresso and filtered coffee. They use their own coffee beans and chocolates, and their bakery items are amazing, especially the sourdough.

The sourdough dough cheese sandwich is something else!

I love the staff and the atmosphere.

The only downside is parking.

MUST TRY IF YOU ARE AROUND .

Juefri Rene08.11.2026

A lot of interesting coffee to try..
Love the karak Monkey bread.
Fan for special home made chocolates, here is one of them to check.

Mira Kerbage08.11.2026

I LOVE this place!!! Some of my favorite sandwiches in Dubai and the chocolate mousse is a MUST!

Various Indian food concoctions

I went today for a cupping workshop lead by the head of business operations & marketing, wayne.
It was a great experience, wayne has a plethora of knowledge to share.

Definitely watch out for subko events!

Moza M08.11.2026

Unfortunately, this time I was served a hot matcha by mistake and didn’t enjoy it at all:) tasted like water when I added ice to it 0/10

Tried the cherry matcha 🍒🍵, loved it it wasn’t sweet at all, you can taste the sweetness from the cherry jam :p 7/10

Tried the banoffe matcha, tasted like banana milk and matcha, nice 7/10 🍵 + tried the ice karak w oat milk, tasted so good! The service was good 👍

ER G08.11.2026

I visited this place with my family which consisted of eight adults and one child. While the cafe is situated in a compound it takes a lot of walking to reach the place as parking is hard to find in this area. While this is a spacious restaurant - there is a lot of misuse of space. This isn't a place to take aged parents as the tables on the ground can't seat more than 5 people in one go ( max 4 seating at a table) and one needs to climb a flight of stairs to reach the main seating area. There are no elevators in this place so climbing is going to be issue for aged patrons. Ambience wise the place is unique and it clearly shows it a Brew house specializing in coffee. While the food is fresh and it really hits your pallete in a good way - its definitely not worth the price. The prices are quite steep for a breakfast & brunch offering. If you choose to have a one time taste its good but definitely not pocket friendly. This place would be an appropriate visit for a special occasion of sorts but definitely not for a regular visit if you're on a budget. They sell specialized unique chocolates which are on display with samples available. There are chocolate bars available which are 65% dark chocolate. So do visit the counter and get your own merchandise as well. The name Subko in Hindi means "For Everyone" which is inclusive and also a lot of thought has been put into the merchandise & Theme as the word is written in different Indian languages, visible on the coffe cups and cutlery. If you know your coffee & chocolates, its a good place to visit and I would recommend it. Bon Appetite!!!

Ali08.11.2026

Zarah here was so friendly and fantastic, she explained the different chocolate varieties and fillings in detail with real passion and clarity.

They’ve bean to bar chocolate selection alongside specialty coffee and a small bakehouse. I personally enjoyed the creativity in their filled chocolate flavors more than the dark chocolate bars themselves (my fav is the date one). Most/all of their cocoa sourced from Indian beans, which gives it a distinct character.

I’d love to see them move away from using sunflower lecithin in their ingredients. I liked heir dark milk coffee (mocha) bar which was my favorite, rich, smooth, and well balanced.

Worth a visit for craft chocolate enthusiasts!

M08.11.2026

Absolutely love this place, the coffee is incredible, the sourdough pizza to die for, the sweet pastries out of this world. Above all Nissan and Winnie are amazingly hospitable people that really make you feel welcomed.

Tejal Pruthi08.11.2026

Ambience: 10/10
Had an iced latte and it was one if the best I’ve had in Dubai !! Plus, i tried a few of their in house made chocolates and omg they’re so good!!

Camilla Biancorosso08.11.2026

Very good quality coffee and very good food! We suggest to get the avo toast, but share it because it’s huge! The waiters are super friendly, especially the girl with braids. Too bad for music too loud inside. I love that you can see the lab in the back of shop! You can also shop mugs, chocolate and bread.

Gdg08.11.2026

We were just passing by and happened to discover Subko. It turned out to be a really nice breakfast spot. The coffee was rich and smooth, and the pastries were fresh, flaky, and very tasty. Sometimes the best places are the ones you find by chance. We’ll definitely come back ☕️ 🥐

Drishti Meghnani08.11.2026

love subko, the food was LOVELYYY and love the al serkal branch! super cool vibe, and the staff were so so chill, accomodating and sweet, though my requests were very specific! the top floor seating gets a bit warm and the mumbai tea cake was a bit dry, but honestly i'm only nitpicking. amazing bread and coffee options and the sourdough pizza slices are my new favorite thing. :)

Shivangi Jha08.11.2026

Subko in Alserkal has such a good atmosphere. The whole space feels warm and industrial in a really nice way, with plenty of seating whether you want to catch up with someone or sit and work for a few hours. wifi and charging spots were great too, which honestly makes a huge difference.

We tried the iced latte, long black, and Bombay toast. The Bombay toast was definitely the highlight for me. Coffee was decent too, though the long black was smaller than I expected, but that might just be their style. Mostly came away liking the vibe of the place more than anything, and I’d still come back to work or spend a slow afternoon there.

John Mychal Feraren08.11.2026

I think it’s busy when we arrived, but Jeffrey made our visit really memorable. He was able to provide quality service.

BITES & FLIGHTS WITH SANA08.11.2026

Absolutely loved visiting Subko Specialty Coffee Roasters and Bakehouse at Alserkal Avenue ☕️🥐✨

Such a refreshing addition to Dubai’s coffee scene. The space is beautifully designed with a very creative and artsy vibe that perfectly matches the Alserkal atmosphere. From the coffee to the pastries and sourdough bakes, everything felt thoughtfully crafted and full of quality.

Loved how unique and immersive the whole experience was definitely more than just a coffee shop. A perfect spot to slow down, work, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy great coffee and bakery items in Dubai.

Lara Pereira08.11.2026

Very nice place to hide from the scorching summer, pleasing air conditioning, pretty good food, very attentive service and interesting atmosphere.

Janelle R Lopez08.11.2026

Good coffee and food. Sourdough bread was amazing. Staff are also nice and interacting with customers. I love the cafe's ambience. I just feel that the pricing is on a high side - but it could also be due to the current situation.

Chin Manglicmot08.11.2026

Went here for a quick catch up with my friends and it didn’t disappoint. The customer service was 10/10. April, the staff who assisted us, gave us recommendations from their menu as we didn’t know what to order. We had their pink salad, butter chicken sandwich, and shakshuka. For drinks, we ordered vitenamese matcha, strawbs & cream matcha, and one of their signature coffee. The vibe was great and even pets are allowed. The place was huge and the seating areas were super cool. Loved our experience here as first time visitors. I will definitely come back.

N D08.11.2026

Great place to hang/work remotely. Great food, nice drinks (some a little overpriced but it is what it is in Alserkal). Lots of outlets for remote work, and plently of table set ups upstairs no matter your group size.

Personal rec: Chapli Kebab or Make Pesto Great Again / Mango Matcha

Beyondthe Bliss08.11.2026

What a wonderful find! The atmosphere is so light and welcoming, and the entire staff is incredibly friendly, it’s rare to find a place where everyone is so genuinely kind. I highly recommend their coffee (Had the pourover and it is so good) and croissants, they are the perfect pairing. They also have a fantastic selection of chocolates bars and small cubes. I LOVE THE HONEYCOMB!!! OMG ! MUST TRY.

I’ll definitely be back soon.

Genevieve Smith08.11.2026

The best almond croissant in Dubai.

Mango matcha was great but very sweet so something to have once in a while.
Flat white was average.

However, all the flies around the sample bites at the front of the cafe were pretty gross.

I’d come for a takeaway as the inside was pretty soulless and walk around Al Serkal instead. The benches we sat on with no cushions were also incredibly uncomfortable.

Free samples of their chocolates was a nice touch and delicious but customer service was a let down when it came to purchasing. Seemed more interested in chatting to each other rather than a sale going through so we didn’t purchase anything else.

Suren Rajamohan08.11.2026

From the Subcontinent to the World.

Subko is not just a coffee culture, it's a movement, creating it's own voice it's systematic with intent. Representing a subcontinent power house for coffee, cocoa and artisan bakery. They are sourcing the produce from the farmers directly and oversee the whole supply chain. They are soon going to be a coffee power house.

They are reviving the Cocoa in more than many ways from Pod to Bar, their team is relentlessly pushing the chocolate segment further, each bite is pure unadulterated cocoa.
The bakers combine tradition with innovation, and they make it their open style bakery setup.
Located @alserkalavenue you have to visit this ironic place.

moza alzaabi08.11.2026

Great experience at SUBKO Coffee Roasters in Dubai. The croissant is delicious and the staff are friendly and welcoming. This is my first visit here, though I’ve visited their Mumbai branch before. Wishing them continued success!

Feras Al Balushi08.11.2026

Super vibes and amazing coffee. Been to Mumbai branch before it opened in Dubai

Abhay Verma08.11.2026

So much hype around Subko finally opening in Dubai, I had to try them out.

The ambience was def the star of the visit, with a beautiful, tastefully designed interior space separated into blocks which were all very interesting and intimate.

We got the banofee latte, the monkey bread, croissant and a matcha latte and I was a little let down, especially since alserkal avenue has such high standards for their food.

The service is also excellent, and I'm going to be back here to try the coffee and chocolate bars.
