Coffee was very good & definitely it has its unique atmosphere that is hard to match anywhere else, wasn’t so happy with service, bit slow, I think they are under staffed.

This is a place to enjoy by yourself or another person in a peaceful atmosphere. The decor is very cozy with 4 different rooms offering different seating styles. I only tried their juice and hot drinks menu and they were excellent.

Digital nomads this is an Awesome place! Good food good prices good wifi and good jewelry!!! They have various rooms and one or two are NON SMOKING which is great.

Super cool place if you’re looking to chill and relax. Food is mid but on the plus side they have a cute museum right next to it which adds to the overall ambiance

I sometimes wonder when shall I open such a cafe in my own country somewhere in the hills, where I can share it with some like minded travelers and homies alike.

Artistic cafe, great place to work as a digital nomad. The staff were friendly and courteous, but the food was bland and boring.

They had smoking and non smoking areas, along with quiet spaces which no one seemed to take notice of.

Overall I liked the experience but wouldn't go back for the food.

Calm cafe. The place is good. Good to work also sit with friends and enjoy the place. Music time. It's not expensive also. Most of the drinks in between 50 to 100 EGP

The place looks nice and charming and the staff seems friendly. But they will scam you. They will mark us your bill shamelessly. If you ask for the receipt, they will lie and say they are having problems with printing. I have spoken to multiple people that went here and it happened to all of them. Save your money and go someplace else

This is the second time I’ve had an issue here, and it’s honestly unacceptable.

I ordered a Sufi cocktail listed at 130 EGP. When I went to pay, I was told the total was 264 EGP, so I handed over 300 EGP. After that, I was given a receipt showing the total was actually 163 EGP. To make things worse, when I got my change, more than 100 EGP were missing.

I repeatedly asked for the correct change, but the staff member refused to give it to me and simply said he didn’t have it. That’s not a valid excuse, especially when you only accept cash payments. If you’re running a cash-only business, you should always have the proper change available.

This experience has happened more than once, which makes it even more concerning.

I won’t be coming back, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place unless they seriously fix how they handle billing and customer service.

cozy vibes very nice place to just sit and chat with your friends, I ordered spanish latte was really nice, my only comment that there wasn’t many choices of the cold drinks

Good atmosphere as a co-working space and lounge

If you're looking for an instagramable spot in Cairo here is suitable for you. There are some rooms separated and each room have different concepts. The ambience is super nice and well decorated. You can have a relaxing time away from clouded city. I ordered black coffee which is deep roasted and yes has good aroma. ☺️The staff was good. However, I have a one thing I have to tell you. Every coffee shop in Egypt allow to smoke. This shop YES. No exception😂 If you are non smoker you have to cope with this situation. I am non smoker and I wasn't able to stay for long. 😟

I adore Sufi as it is really unique coffee shop and bookstore. The atmosphere is remarkable. Their chocolate cake, cappuccino and Turkish coffee are the best in Cairo. In addition, thier staff are really kind, friendly, polite and cooperative. May your business get you lots of fortune, name and fame. I wish you good luck in reaching the top of your game.

A book store, a cafe and more 🤗loved it! In my first day; I was walking around zamalek and this cafe took my attention! Very cozy! Prices are a little expensive than downtown. Latte is 30egp; Turkish coffee 20egp +10% vat. There is a room for nonsmokers. Def go en relax!

We found this place and we really liked the concept of having art, books and a cafe in the same place. There are multiple beautiful rooms and intimate areas where you can work quietly or enjoy a coffee or meal. We ordered the oriental breakfast. The foul was well seasoned and the pita was soft and wonderful. The meal was really delicious.

The problem that I have is that smoking is allowed throughout the area (from what I understood), and the windows were closed in the room that we were in. A man came in the same room as us and started chain smoking. Sorry, but that ruined the experience for me. Why can't there be designated rooms for smoking and non smoking? I get that some people don't mind, but I really hate it and I don't understand how someone can enjoy their food when all I can smell is cigarette smoke.

A very cozy place in the middle of zamalek. I loved how traditional and chill it was. The kushari tea was amazing and the service was ok. I definitely recommend the place if you are looking for a traditional experience in Egypt

Sufi Cafe & Bookstore is one of those places where you are just instantly cooler by being there. Coffee is not the greatest but its a small price to pay for some coolness in your life.

Very quiet, good music ,there’s books of u want to read the prices are on the expensive side but the place is worth it’s very airy and cozy . Good if u want a quit nice place to stay in to work or read .

A long standing establishment in Cairo, Sufi continues to be a stable place to have some tea while reading a lovely book. The only issue that I had (and the reason why I have given this place one star less) is that they have decreased the space for non-smokers into a tiny room, and given the smokers the entire place. Luckily only 1 or two folks were smoking but this is ridiculous.

Visited Monday afternoon so the place wasn’t overcrowded and I had a chance to observe all the antique details of this cafe. You definitely want to bring your laptop and stay there for a couple of hours. Huge windows, books to go through and coffee. Opposite the cafe there is a gallery with antique interior pieces - worth a visit too.
Overall, a must see gem in Zamalek!

I have been there many times , the first i visited was recommended by a friend and i liked the vibes and the atmosphere there. The stuff is friendly and respectful, variety of books is so many. I recommend this place to whoever wants to relax, drink something good and tasty

Go there for the atmosphere. It’s a time travel. Service is kind and warm. It’s quiet. Open windows allow for a breeze.

Trying hard to appear a laid-back intellectual hangout. Customers smoke more for appearance than enjoyment and greet one another with rehearsed sincerity. Be prepared to overhear bad poetry. Still, if you can handle the smoke, the vibe is cool enough and you can get some work done or chat.

This place is aesthetically pleasing, and quite nice to sit at if you want a quiet atmosphere with some classic Egyptian music. However, it's almost like every single person goes there to smoke, and if that's your thing, that's fine, but it wasn't really my or my friend's thing, so we were going to suffocate by the end of our 2-hour-long visit, especially because there was little to no ventilation. The drinks were fine, the latte frappe was really delicious and the orange juice was nice. The book variety there is not that big, and most of the books there are not really interesting, coming from a literature enthusiast. My problem was the service. The barista, also the waiter and manager of the place, was rude. And the fact that photos are not allowed in this place is absurd because this is not something monumental or historical, it is literally just a cafe where I and my friend wanted to take nice, vintage-looking photos. That, and the heavy smoking with no ventilation is why I took away two stars from this place.

This is without a doubt my favorite cafe in Cairo. It has a genuinely authentic feel, is pretty low key and quiet, and the staff are very sweet and welcoming.

Literally the best pina colada cocktail I have ever had, so so cozy and romantic. It's honestly the vibes you be seeking in Zamalek streets.

A very lovely cafe and restaurant with nice decorations, a very friendly staff and nice food. The one thing I don't like is that there is only one room where smoking is prohibited and I don't like being exposed to the smell of cigars. Also sometimes people take off their shoes and socks and lay on the stools which is not a very nice thing to look at while your eating. Great place to study and work and fast wifi.

A good cozy coffee shop and book store, where you can enjoy cup of coffee or read while listening to Sufi music.
Most of the books are used. However all of them are great books. History, sufizem, poetry, novels, politics, religious, and much more. Also you can find a lot of items designed and decorated in a traditional Egyptian style.
They also have live music, poetry reading, book discussions from a time to time.

Rally a must visit place.

One of our favourite cafes in Zamalek. Staff are lovely, atmosphere eclectic but relaxed. A true haven from the busy streets around about.

Had a lovely time at this book store! I just walked in to escape the heat of Cairo and have an iced mocha and enjoy the afternoon. The iced mocha was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, filled with quite some people and beautiful decorations! 10/10! :)
