Wake Up Coffee Shop

Great new coffee shop in the area! Quality coffee and a large selection of loose leaf caffeinated and herbal teas. Excellent service by Ivan and Tanya - we felt very welcomed to the place during our first visit and it was like chatting with friends. Next time I'd be curious to try matcha latte. They sell a lot of different pastries and there is wifi available. Calm and upbeat music, not too loud, so you can have a normal conversation or read/study. There is a lot of natural light, although it's a small cozy space. Lastly, loved the decor and lots of cute live plants. This is now our new place for drinks after the gym as they close later at 9pm.

I stopped by Wake Up for a quick breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The iced coffee was delicious, and the food was fresh and flavorful. The service was fast, and everyone working there was kind and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back.

Amazing place!!! Finally I checked out an outstanding coffee spot near my home in Midwood. This place has excellent products and the best vibe as well as for working and pleasure moments! Konstantin and Ivan are the best as at counter as personal vibe!!!! 100% recommendations!!!!

I stopped by this coffee shop recently and honestly loved it. The atmosphere is super welcoming, and you can tell the people working there really care about their customers. The coffee was fresh and made perfectly, and everything felt clean and well put together. It’s the kind of place you can sit, relax, and actually enjoy your time. Definitely recommend checking it out—I’ll be coming back for sure.

My wife and I came in to do some work. I ordered my drink and sat down, noticing a sign that said we could only be seated for an hour if we were working on our laptops. Okay, cool. So as I get up and get my drink, a man I'm assuming is the owner comes to me and says "are you working on your laptop?" I said yes. He reminds me of the policy. I nod, I get it.

So 40 minutes pass by, and the owner comes up to us to remind us, again, of the 1 hour policy. This happens as we're surrounded by people who have been there longer than we have also working on their laptops. Yet, he only confronts us. We say yes, we know. Then he starts telling my wife that she couldn't have her water bottle out and needs to order a drink. She says that it's just water. He says "It doesn't matter. You need to order a drink." He says this while I have a drink that I bought there AND we're surrounded by people who have 1. been there longer than we have, and 2. also have water bottles, not Wake Up Coffee Shop drinks on their tables.

This behavior is unacceptable. Why were we confronted specifically when there were other customers there who could've been confronted, too? This was infuriating. We left immediately and are never coming back.

The only upsides are that the barista who took my order seemed nice and the music was good. The coffee wasn't even good.

Such a lovely coffee spot! Very cozy atmosphere, amazing coffee, and the people working here are incredibly kind and welcoming. You can really feel the care they put into every cup. A place that instantly makes you feel at home.

Visited because I saw someone say here that it was laptop friendly. Please be warned there’s a 1 hour limit on laptop/computer work.

I love this place. It’s got such a calm, cozy vibe that makes it perfect for getting work done. It’s never too loud or distracting. I’ve spent hours here with my laptop and a cup of something warm.

Speaking of which, the coffee and tea here are top-notch. You can really taste the quality, and everything’s made with care. Whether I’m in the mood for a strong flat white or a soothing herbal tea, it always hits the spot.

The staff are super friendly too, which just adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Definitely one of my favorite spots to work, think, or just take a break. Highly recommend!

A gem of a cafe where you can chat with friends/read a book/do some laptop work, and overall just feel at home. Great selection of teas, nice background music (not too quiet or loud!), and super friendly service. Highly recommend the raspberry croissant and the spinach feta pastry, they are made in-house every morning.

The man working there is a complete nightmare. Unpleasant atmosphere. Incredibly rude, nasty, and openly hostile to several customers. The coffee is absolute garbage overpriced, watered down, and tasteless croissants taste like Costco. He harasses people for sitting “too long” 15 min … and makes the entire place uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Save yourself the aggravation and go literally anywhere else. This place doesn’t deserve customers.

Very rude management team. I went it and it was pretty empty and got myself a cappuccino. I had some work to do on my laptop. The owner / manager had come up to my table letting me know that limit time to use table space for laptop use is 1 hour. I said I am aware as there are multiple signs around the cafe lol. Then in about 10 minutes he decided to sit someone across me without even asking me. My bag was in the chair and handed it to me. Left very upset.

Mind you, I am a paying customer as much as the other customers that were sitting there before me but he didn't ask them if they can sit someone else with them.

Food is great. Kosher options. Accomodations for preferences not just allergies. They still working on smoothies and special coffee( Turkish, bumble, tonic) but overall great service and great lattes, espresso and cappuccino. We needed a place to sit without going to Manhattan, park slope, or Bushwick. wifi upon request, but good service. Will come back and try the Nutella on the croissants. Friend recommended to ask for it

Wake up is a great environment. The friendliest staff, and delicious menu. Fast wifi, outlets, and community vibes. Shoutout to Konstantin!

Delicious cappuccino and great service! The barista was friendly and helpful. Spacious café with big windows and a nice spot to work on a laptop. Highly recommend!
