Freddo Cappuccino w/ honey 4.5/5⭐️

DO NOT expect a latte when you order this. Espresso over ice means it will be a bit more watery. Because the milk is whipped, there is WAY LESS of it compared to your typical latte. This gives it a stronger coffee taste, less sweet. Skim milk also means it won’t be very creamy.

Now that that comparison is out of the way… The espresso shot is pulled to be quite sour (not just light roast sour, like Greek yogurt sour). Lucky for me, I LOVE Greek yogurt, so this was perfect!

The wifi is reliable, but seating is ALWAYS packed. Both inside and out. If you really want to stay, I suggest trying to squeeze in somewhere or stand, give it 10min and you should find something. Since there are always so many people, there is a slightly higher turnover. Maybe have a plan B cafe nearby if you need to work… I’ve had to do that a few times unfortunately

Perfect spot to work from
The coffee is great, the wifi is fast and reliable, and the atmosphere makes it easy to stay productive for a few hours
Definitely one of those places you keep coming back to

small coffee shop folded into the lobby of a NoHo building on a quiet stretch of Crosby Street. if it wasn't for tables and seats often scattered in front of Cafe Lyria, you'd likely walk by this spot and not notice it. the coffee shop offers a variety of coffee & tea centric drinks as well as a small menu of items. the interior is a chill eclectic vibe made of a variety of seating options from a large couch, tables and chairs. the calming decor is a result of plants, warm subtle tones, and the space itself feeling cozy but not cramped. there's stacks of books and games placed throughout the coffee shop and a small tv playing a variety of anime.

stopped by a few times and each time ordered an Americano coffee. the coffee was flavorful without being overly bitter and had that smooth hot caffeine kick that only good coffee delivers.

never managed to take a seat at Cafe Lyria mostly because i had places to be. will say it is quite busy during the day as prime seats are mostly taken up by people who are laptop-ing and working (pretending to remote work!). the crowd, here, is a mix of students, remote workers, and mid social media scenesters. while not the greatest mix of NYers...the vibe remains chill.

the ladies behind the counter are friendly and laidback and seem to enjoy the life of dealing caffeine to the chronically tired people slightly north of Houston Street. worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood, but not sure i would head here if it weren't convenient to things I need to get done in NoHo.

If you are looking fun cafè with music and good vibes, Café Lyria is for you.
Full of plants and vintage items. It’s a noisy spot so i wouldn’t recommend it if you need a quiet space to work and make phone calls.

Free wifi + restroom.

Atmosphere very nice and a lot of people chatting/working. Ordered an iced hibiscus tea which was most ice. I said yes to a little bit of honey but it ended up overpowering the hibiscus flavor.

Jackie is truly an angel! It was my first time here, amazing coffee, amazing vibes, nice bathroom and wifi! Everything you could possibly want in a coffee shop. Give Jackie a raise! She made my experience exceptional.

I got a vanilla latte and chocolate croissant here and enjoyed both of them. The atmosphere was casual with many people working and catching up. It was a nice place to sit and take a break while walking around the area.

The coffee is very good, the pastry is average the staff is very friendly. The environment is great and do not working in the heart of Soho.

Decor and vibes were nice, as were the staff.

I tried the single origin drip but the beans were not very fresh. I make a much better pourover at home for half the cost.

The to-go cup lid did not fit well on the cup and it spilled on me multiple times while drinking. It would stay fitted for a few sips, and then with another sip I would find the lid partially off, and coffee on my shirt, which is now stained.

The ham & gruyere croissant was just cold and pre-prepared in a bag, very underwhelming and overpriced.

It was still a nice place to sit and connect to wifi to watch the starship launch before visiting a nearby client, but I would not return for any of the food or coffee.

Interesting place, like a hall in a hotel or building. Small. They have couple chairs outside and couple seats inside.
Some people working.

Coffee is good, not much bakery or snacks

Kris26.09.2026

Pros: Good coffee, fast service, pretty interior, fast wifi, good music.

Cons: Not many plugs, the most annoying ppl might sit next to you and ruin the vibe.

When here in the morning and got coffee. My Americano was OK, but I also got no sugar so that’s expected.

If you’re a single guy, I would go here in the morning cause it seem to be mainly women. A lot of women at workout gear.

They’re also were a lot of gay guys in fashionable clothes, which I liked

And they had outdoor seating as well

The inside was a cool vibe and a great place to bring your laptop and do some work or some writing

Didn’t see the bathroom, so can’t comment on that

Didn’t try the food because it was already too expensive for me. I’m frugal.

Overall, this place is a cool vibe. It’s very small but it’s a cool place to bring your laptop and kind of talk to people and meet people.
