The place is chill and warm, the staff is very welcoming.

We had a breakfast sandwich and it was seriously good 👏🏻! The coffee was also delicious.

They have shared inside sitting and tables on the outside too. We decided to sit on the little bar by the window and it was very comfortable.

They offer free wifi at the place.

Pros:
- Friendly workers
- Sunny, variety of seating (high stools, semi booth, circle low tables, outdoor)
- laptop friendly (saw 2 people with one but not everyone)
- cute family friendly vibe
- people reading/eating solo on the bar tables

Food:
Got the Rotisserie chicken sandwich, which was almost $16 It was good, would be great if it came with fries (you have to order separate, if expect it included for that price) and or more leafy greens to balance the protein

Cons:
- Very narrow bathroom (wouldn’t fit a bigger person or wheelchair)
- pricy for what you get
- Crowded, might not be able to find seating especially on a wknd

Solid reliable menu with good ingredients and close to the Brooklyn Museum and Brooklyn Botanical Garden. Popular for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Excellent sandwiches and salads. Lots of co-working during the week.

I have gotten 4 sandwiches here: (1) Egg Sandwich - one of the best breakfast sandwiches in the neighborhood *when it is cooked as advertised (menu says sunny side up, but I find more often that the eggs are cooked hard and I am disappointed everytime); (2) Meatball - no notes, delicious as hell and bought this every week for a few months; (3) Rotisserie Chicken - nothing notable for me, kinda dry; (4) Avocado Egg Sandwich - nothing notable, I’d prefer different bread.

Do NOT get the Chai Latte. Coffee is okay of what I remember, I prefer Most High on Washington though.

Nice space to work though it gets fairly busy. I appreciate that they turn off the wifi during lunch hours (12-2p).

Cute place with ample outdoor seating and decent espresso. Their yogurt granola parfait is also quite fresh and good. They currently do not have indoor seating.

They don't have wi-fi on weekends, which was unfortunate as I went there to try to get a coffee + get some work done on my laptop.

Really enjoyed the vegetarian avocado sandwich! 100000/10 high recommend. I actually think it’s might be the best veggie avocado sandwich I had. My friend and I went here for a work cafe date - so feel free to bring a laptop. No wifi during the lunch rush (12-2) so unless you have a hotspot don’t come. I will say this place gets really busy and crowded. If you are someone who prefers a quieter environment I would not recommend.

This place serves La Colombe coffee, which I usually like, but I wasn’t all that impressed with my espresso. Lots of seating, but the lighting is kinda dim if you’re trying to read, which I was, and the music is more of a distraction than a backdrop. Good, I guess, if you’re looking for outlets for your laptop. The decor could use an update, too. Who wants to stare at all the supply boxes?

Lovely little spot to work, hang or chill from. Cozy and perfect noise level for working or conversation. Great coffee and home made lunch / all day menu + happy hour!

Came in this morning with my partner to grab some coffee. I come to this cafe for coffee all the time on my way to work & tell people frequently that they have the best latte in the neighborhood.

My partner thought he ordered a latte, but must’ve accidentally said coffee. When I see him go up to politely say something to the guy at the register to switch it out, he rudely remarks how he ordered coffee (looking at my partner like he is stupid for being confused) & didn’t offer to instead get him what he intended to order. Even if it meant charging us the difference. There’s a way to go about honest miscommunications & that’s not it.

Both of us are in the service industry & it is so utterly disappointing to see employees interact with guests like that, let alone be on the receiving end of it. What’s the price difference between a drip coffee & a latte? A couple of dollars? We would’ve gladly paid the price adjustment to have what we wanted.

working with guests to give them a happy experience can sometimes be a matter of having a sliver of empathy. Had to give two stars because not even the best latte can save underwhelming customer service. Now both of us are hesitant about coming back and definitely regret leaving the 22% gratuity.

Delicious rotisserie chicken sandwich! Very calm and nice environment. Place is filled with young professionals working on their computers.

the dude working the register today was in a BAD mood. I do not recommend the pulled pork sandwich. It wasn’t terrible, but I would never get it again. My friend loves this place so I will probably end up here again, but can’t say I’m looking forward to trying anything else. Especially when the cashier gave me a room temp root beer, then acted inconvenienced by my request for a cup of ice. I understand work sucks but dude. A cup of ice is not world-ending.

No complaints on the coffee and the breakfast sandwich I had, those were great, but if I spent close to $40 for 2 people, was told there is a designated laptop area to hang out in, and then wifi is turned off shortly after sitting down in order to discourage the laptop use they said was ok, that feels a bit misleading on the shop’s end.

Just outright say we can’t be there with a laptop instead of letting people spend a bunch of money only to have to leave somewhere else 👎🏽😒

One of my favorite lunch spots in Crown Heights / Prospect Heights. It’s cozy and bustling with people working, eating, and chatting. They make a big deal out of their roast chicken, and a pulled roast chicken does make for a great chicken salad sandwich. Other favorites include the egg sandwich and whatever the soup of the day is.

Pretty much everything was great. Service, food, beer, ambience, seating (tables with notes asking laptop users to use the large central table which allows customers in groups who want to talk to use the tables!)... The only thing potentially missing is compost, but that's not essential. Definitely worth your time if you're in the area.

I live right around the corner from this establishment. It’s a pretty great place. The drip coffee is a little too bitter and rich for my taste, but they make excellent espresso drinks! It’s very Brooklyn hippie dippie but can’t blame them for following the sheep. The cafe itself looks like it’s a set for a TV show about six 20 somethings living and working in Brooklyn.

That all being said, it’s a decent place. Deffo worth a cup of coffee.

Great place to work on a laptop. Plenty of outlets. Sandwiches are delicious but really anything involving their chicken is too notch. (Try Kale salad + chicken). Pro tip: get chicken to go and bring home for the fam.

This is a great spot for working or meeting up with folks. I’ve come here multiple times to have quick chats with collaborators on the large central table.

One of my favorite cafes in Prospect Heights. Love the broccoli and ricotta sandwich. Plenty of seating and wifi (although it can be a little spotty throughout the day).

This is not a dine-in, the overpriced chicken was disgusting, the broccoli soaked in oil, and the service was bad: there are no sauces for the potatoes, there is no wifi anymore, we asked for an extra fork to be told "go get it yourself"...
I used to love this place but the quality really dropped

They turn the wifi off around the midday and it’s just such an unpleasant gesture. I had a hotspot but it really turned me off to the spot. Wouldn’t recommend it whatsoever.

Good atmosphere for working or casual conversation, good coffee and food. Personally live the egg sandwich with bacon, it's a little messy but well worth it.

Solid local eatery. Note they do turn off the wifi for two hours or so mid-day during noon-ish, if you were planning to stay here and work.

Pricing is great but the food menu and service have not evolved or improved at all in 8 years I've been a customer.
The location is great, getting a lot of sunlight all day. You can set up with your laptop and work both inside and outside.
