This place is a super chill spot with great coffee from a local roaster. We came on a quiet day, and the server was friendly and helpful. We didn’t get any food, but it looks good, and we heard it’s also from local bakeries. The music level was also low and chill, which was nice, and wifi was good. Definitely worth a visit.
Edit: the bathroom is very clean too!
Paper Sons Cafe is a lovely little spot located in the heart of Chinatown on Mott St. The drinks are amazing. Special shoutout to the harvest hojicha latte and the Taiwan black sugar latte. The matcha is also great! Reasonable pricing, great employees who if you sit down will often bring the drinks to your table. Super lovely people and environment!
The space is smaller so there is minimal seating where you can find people reading or working on their laptops. Paper Sons really feels like somewhere you can rewind and be yourself at.

This is easily a recent favorite discovery. The coconut condensed milk latte is excellent, the vibes are sleek and quiet and the staff is super friendly. There is reliable wifi and a restroom. 100% a strong recommend if you're in the area.

It’s amazing. Come with your laptop and the ambiance is great. Plenty of outlets too. They are so accommodating and up to front about ingredients! I had the sesame mochi ball (vegan) which was so crunchy outside and delectably chewy on the inside. The lotus filling was great and the sesame from the outer layer was definitely a good combo. The black sesame steamer was literally amazing. The milk was steamed perfectly and the black sesame flavor wasn’t strong or overpowering. It was so well balanced. Overall 10/10 I’m going to be a new regular here. Prices are typical for a NYC cafe is not cheaper for the bites.
I came here a couple weeks after they opened, it was exactly what I was looking for at the time. The place has a really nice feel to it, and it being in this little street makes it a gem. The service was great, the staff is very friendly and we're working hard. The shop is clean and inviting. My cappuccino was great quality, if I ever find myself in this city again, I'll be sure to make another stop.

Their Red Bean Matcha (not on menu) is excellent. They mix the matcha w/ a bamboo whisk and it tastes great. Latte was good too! wifi on weekend too!
This place has unique lattes, a good amount of tables near outlets, strong wifi, and personable staff. If you don't mind some mid-volume level music (noticeable but can clearly have conversations), it is a desirable place to work remote.

Perched above Mott street, it is an oasis to hide away from the tourist and hustle bustle in Chinatown.
The coffee was good though not the best I have had; people who work here were super nice.
Decor is modern and minimalistic. Unlike Park at Kim on Elizabeth that is mobbed by Instagramers, mostly patrons here at Paper Son are locals reading, working and chilling, which is the main reason I revisit whenever I am around Chinatown.
Got a great iced vanilla latte to go here. There was lots of seating and people working remotely, very zen compared to the busy street outside. Baristas were so sweet!

Immaculate vibes with yummy vegetarian pastries from Buddha bodai. I came for a chill spot to get some work done and from that standpoint, they have wifi, seating, outlets, and bathroom.

Cute ambiance, love the paper theme where they have lots of paper around the cafe for drawing. Great cortado! Only complaint is I wish they enforced the no laptops policy. Most of the tables were hogged by laptop users on a weekend day when there’s a sign on their table for no laptops!
